Women have just as much power as men do! Men may be more active in politics and corporations and things like that, but that is not a blessing it is a curse. While men get the gift of peeing standing up and not menstrating, women get the peace of mind of having a simpler life (if they are lucky). And anyone who has a lot of sex with a lot of people is a 5lut (man or woman)!

Women can and will gain strength and recognition. They will do it because they have the strength to look at new ways. Well some of them will anyway.
Some women will educate themselves in what they feel is necessary and this will loosen the grip on them from a man's society. Many now know that we gain little from war and greed. Some men also are inclined to think out of the box.
I have been surprised several times when I asked to speak to the manager and she was a woman. An instance was one time I needed to see the head of the maintenance dept in a large corporation. Well she was a woman and she knew the in and outs of the trade that I worked in much better than I did.
This set me back on my heels and I soon changed my built in opinion of women. This one lady was able to do anything to service these industrial trucks as well as I was.
Women are not a lower class no matter what they do. They get stepped on because of ignorance.

Women are already empowered to do or be anything we want and are willing to work towards. You just have to learn to believe that with all your heart. Feeling empowered comes from the inside out. The tools are already in place for you to be empowered, thanks to the feminists of decades gone by.
As for your comment that "women do not have life easy"---no one has an easy life in this day and age. Life is complicated for both sexes. You sound very young but I promise you if you drop the 'victim card' and work hard on self esteem that you'll get emotionally stronger, feel less weak and not be subjected to being abused. No one can take advantage of you unless you let them.

Take control of your own life! Stop looking at those who act that way and look at something else.
Women do not have it easy. But that just means we have more to overcome and the more we grow the better person we become.
Being able to feel in our hearts is NOT a sign of weakness, it is a sign of humanity.
To get over this you need to think you are better than male counterparts. Because if you always feel you are worthless then you act as though you are worthless.
Finally, get educated. Learn all you can from every one you can. The information you learn you can use in other aspects of your life. Like Jobs, finances, housing, raising a family (especially girls).

Stop whining and "Just do it". Do what you believe and encourage others to do what they believe....and for Pete's sake stop the whining.
Being more concerned about what you want and less concerned about what guys want is a good start for young women like yourself too.

Oh, and not naming yourself after a toy that was once and continues to be a source of much controversy may help as well. Even if you are named Barbara

Your perspective is offline. But, I can answer the premise of your question. Women should concentrate on self-knowledge, self-esteem, and accountability, including what men consider to be important with regards to accountability.

Weakest in society? WTF? ok, lets exclude the homeless, whose rights get violated all the time and they lack the means to protest. Then, let's exclude children, who need to be constantly protected from everyone. Then, let us forget the fact that all what you said about other people applies only to religious fundamentalists, and then, and only then, you may have a point.

You know something I'm an anti-feminist woman and I have a completely different view than what you do. Who cares if we get things 10 times harder; who cares if everything seems to fall on us; that's life; life is a challenge; besides, we're more than capable to rise to the challenge. All that needs to be done is hold one's head high and smile, even the faintest of smiles can do wonders; try it and you'll see. That's all it takes; forget all about those pity-parties; they'll only weaken you. Also think of some happy thoughts chase those bad ones away.
