All the pro-life rallies televised, (such as durring the recent Supreme Court nominations) were populated with far more women than men. Even here, in Yahoo! Answers, there are much more females speaking against abortion than men, (from what I have noticed, but I have not and will not count). Why then do pro-choicers assume those who oppose abortion are only men trying to control women?

My old girlfriend took women's studies at the university and turned into a total btch! Complain, complain, complain! Men this, men that! Dogma all day long. I am still traumatized from dating her. Why don't they all move to an island somewhere and nag each other to death!

While undergoing genital mutilation, having sex selected abortions, sexual slavery, burkas, and legal murder of daughters or wives be considered a "cultural difference".
Is a right something that extends beyond borders or is it only an "American woman's right?

Why in hell do women actresses, in Hollywood, take roles that are nothing but portrayals of abuse, rape, and every conceivable, sick mistreatment that can be conceived against a woman. I don't watch much of this but my only pleasure is to see the animals, portrayed by men in Hollywood, be blown away, and hope it may happen in real time. How can any media believe that advetrising motivates people to buy, especailly the young, and then squall like a pig with a 10" knife in it's throat, and deny it when anyone says that this trash MOTIVATES emulation?

I decided to not place this under "entertainment". Geeeessssh!

Is money worth perpetuating abuse by the these $%%&^*??????

There once was a time when feminism fought for the helpless. They faught against the business men who oppressed others in order to succeed in their selfish goals. Now, radical feminists believe killing helpless unborn children for the sake of their education and career is, not only understandable, but logical.

Decades past, feminists once resented the idea of neglectful fathers putting their careers before the needs of their wives and children. They strove to make these neglectful fathers realize how much their wives and children need their support and participation in the house. Now, radical feminists not only support women who put their careers before their children, (and are hardly home), but often encourage so.

Has Radical Feminism forsaken the original goals of Feminism? Have they been overpowered by the "enemy"? Do Radical Feminists live by the saying "If you can't beat them, join them"?

I'm obviously happy to be living it a place and time where I'm not rejected from higher education because of my gender, but I'm alarmed to see that there are still people who prepare their male children for careers and their female children for marriage. In any case, how do you feel about stay at home moms/dads and the glass ceiling in the workplace? I'm just curious to hear any general comments regarding the topic of gender roles ...

Hypothetically, you have married and have two sons.Your husand was sent to Iraq, and died serving his country. Months later, your house is cought on fire with you and your sons trapped in. Firemen are able to rescue you and your children. Your children have no severe injuries, but you have been burned and injured fataly. You are covered in blankets laying on a stretcher.

Knowing you only have minutes to live, two of your girlfriends, (who heard quickly of your trauma) approach you. You are relieved to see them knowing your sons will need someone to watch them. The first lady had an abortion at the age of 19, because the child would have hindered her colledge career. She is now weatlhy, married, and a mother of two. Her children spend their day in daycare. The second women is also married and a mother of two. She to was pregnant at 19, but chose her children over her career. Her husband has a decent job and she is a stay-at-home mother.

Who would you want to raise your sons?

IF SO FIGHT FOR IT!
New York's highest court delivered its decision on
whether same-sex couples have the right to marry and they said our families DO NOT deserve the protections of marriage.
----->Tonight, there will be a rally at 6 PM at Sheridan Square (west 4th Street and 6th Avenue). Because of this landmark decision, we need you to come out TONIGHT in order to tell our legislators and all New Yorkers that this decision is not good for New York.
Pride is just not about parties and parades, its about being proud enough to stand up for who you are and fight for your rights! DO YOU HAVE PRIDE???

Yet it seems to me that women are the ones who adore the pop divas like Madonna and Shakira, Nelly Furtado, etc. Isn't this contributing to the problem or do I have no point here? What I'm saying is that women appear to be attracted to superficial beauty in other women.

in a poll last year in britain it was revealed that a staggeringly large proportion of people believed it was a womans fault if she was raped whilst drunk, or if she was flirtatious, or wearing 'sexy' clothes.
what the hell can we do to educate people about rape, and disspell these myths and prejudices against women?
