Why do pro-choicers assume only men oppose abortion?

All the pro-life rallies televised, (such as durring the recent Supreme Court nominations) were populated with far more women than men. Even here, in Yahoo! Answers, there are much more females speaking against abortion than men, (from what I have noticed, but I have not and will not count). Why then do pro-choicers assume those who oppose abortion are only men trying to control women?

I have seen more women against abortion than men, just not much more, a tad more in my experiences. Abortion advocates like to think it is all men against it I think because it stems from some feminist mythos, and generally, they disregard women who are against it. It is just much easier to fight a man on the issue since it is a "women's issue", the argument against a man is an easier one to come up with.
I don't know why PC women look at men who advocate abortion as something 'good'. I think a man who is all for abortion is sleezy for obvious reasons.
My mother was a feminist back in the 60s and 70s, she told me, "legalized abortion and the sexual revolution was the best thing that ever happened-- to men".

I am well aware there are females speaking against abortion.
As someone who has rallied to keep abortion legal, alot of the times it is women (with men as well) who are against abortion for whatever reason side by side, on the front lines, with those who are militantly or violently opposed to it. These are women as well not just men.
I don't assume to know what they have went through or assume to know what they are going through. Those are their experiences.
My experience says that it is, has always been and will always be a women's choice.

Even women who are pro-choice themselves, find out they are pregnant and cannot go through with an abortion for whatever reason. It does not mean they have suddenly become anti-choice. It means they know they have the choice to make whatever decision is right for them. Women still discuss their choices with their partners and respect their partners feelings. Depending on how serious the relationship is, it is something that they must discuss together but ultimately, it will be her decision because it is her body.

That is partially true: I have a hard time believing women would fight not to have rights. Of course I know it's true, just like some women feel all women should be in the kitchen and taking care of their man in the old fashioned way. If they want to, that's fine, but no one should choose for someone else. It's easy for me to understand men having these opinions and wanting to be king of the castle and make decisions for their women-- all women-- but that women would want what I see as oppression.. I find it very sad.

However, I don't believe that there are more women than men on the pro-life side. If you look at almost any protest you will see more women than men. More women than men are interested in public protest.

Another reason you may have seen a lot of women is that your tv station may be pro life (Fox?) so they want to make it look as good as possible. They will also cover a 100 person pro-life rally and not cover a 100,000 person pro-choice rally.

Because men are easily led down the wrong path in anything sexual.
Abortion was invented by God and does not lead to death of a child. Most men are not capable of thinking deeply enough to understand those to facts. Mostly because abortion does not affect men.

I though men were the biggest adovates for abortion ...

I mean men hate it when women get pregno because they think that the woman purposfully is trapping him (which has happened) ... but in fact, sex does lead to babies ... men seem to forget this, and then bully women into abortions for their own glory.

Of course this is not all men ... but a large majority of men seem to hate babies ... ........... fact - not all but a majority of them do.

I don't. I've seen women oppose abortion. It is mainly the religious fanatics that I've seen oppose it. Men and women fanatics together oppose abortion.

This really annoys me, people need to mind their own business. Why is there even a debate, it should be a personal preference, I hate how other people want to dictate what is right or wrong for someone other then themselves.
