I am willing to travel as far south as Cincy and as far north as Troy. Xenia or Springfield is cool too. I don't have a bachelors yet, but I'm one year away from it. I prefer women's issues or social services but I'm open to political (liberal) positions too. My background is in women's studies and psychology and I have experience in chemical dependency and food service. I have my own transportation and my school schedule is flexible. I'm active in women's issues and I hold leadership positions with school organizations. Can some one help me, the papersand online job/career sites aren't very helpful at all.

Please tell me what it is that makes you choose one man over another. I am not speaking of "just looks" or any other thing specifically, but the SPECIFIC man. What draws you to "the one?"

I'll answer for all men right now in this regard. We are attracted to hot women, all of them. However, we choose the one who likes us the best and will kiss our @$$ as our mate. I am SERIOUS.

Hi All,

I'm asking this because I'm trying to help my GF feel better about herself and it occurs to me that maybe the fairer sex bases their feelings of self-esteem on different things than I, an most guys might.

For me self-esteem comes from a feeling of efficacy, i.e. doing things well, from having a purpose as well as from being regarded well by my those around me. Would the list be the same for most women or would it be different.

I guess I am just not the type of guy that wants to go to a bar hoping to meet "that girl." Also, where is a good place to meet people?

Maybe I am that type of emotional guy that wants to feel loved and enjoy life. My wish is to find someone that isn't ruined by them forgetting childhood fun. Is that so impossible?

How come you can change your hair color, hair length, eye color, skin color, and clothing, but not your body type? What if you're a little more curvaceous and you want your avatar to represent that? Especially given the number of teenage girls using this, why would Yahoo! want to perpetuate the myth that all girls should fit the same body mold?

Anyone who has played sports knows you do not try to turn a player into what he isn't. In stead, you harness his best abilities for the better of the team. When a player is forced to play an unnatural position, he tends to fail at it, and hinders the team's success in the process.

Why can't men and women understand each other's differences rather than try to change or deny them? Why can't we harness them and use them for the benefit of one another and society?
