K.. first, I'm annie's friend that worked as an OB/Gyn for a while. Let me tell you, male babies have a much higher mortality rate then females. Whether it's because of immature lungs, hearts, brains, whatever. It's the truth, look up the statistics of you don't believe me.
Second- man are your other questions geared to be rude and offensive!!
Third- I'm inferior to my husband in many ways, but he's also inferior to me also. Let me tell you some examples before you go off about men being superior. I can't lift like he can, can't reach as high, can't do a lot of the work he can do with his hands-big power tools and such. But yet, I can make a mean lasagna, cake, brownies, almost anything better then he can. He can pee standing up, I'm helpless and have to sit down, but yet I can have his children- he'll never be able to accomplish that feat.
Yes, most women aren't as strong as men- in a physical sort of way, not as muscular or as able to do the types of work most men can, but we aren't helpless. We can do so many things that men can't. Not only that, but women are the nurturers. We are the ones who raise the kids, teach them the values we would like them taught, raise them to be fine, outstanding members of society. Not only that, but as the saying goes- if the woman ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!!!! Take that to heart when you try to be controlling and verbally abusive!
Oh- forgot something that I wanted to add.. Have you ever seen a baby being born? If not, then you won't understand this, but a women is ten times stronger then a man, as far as ability to indure hours unpon hours of pain, then to push a 6-10 pound baby out a hole the size of a lemon. If that isn't amazing, then I don't know what is!! The pain that is experienced during childbirth is more then any man will ever experience. There is nothing like it and nothing equal to it. Take the worst pain you have ever been in and then times that by 1,000 and you still will not grasp it. Just a thought....

Indeed we can no longer ignore women inferiority as by so doing is like keep on subordinating them, the only thing we can do is to assist them so that they can be self confident and feel that they are as capable as men do,however this can not just happen automatically, something must be done and to my view the immediate action that must be taken to solve this problem is among other things the affirmative action. For example if you create the preferential sets for women in the parliament it means
you invite more women to the desicion making boards and therefore they can be able to deccide matters that affect their life or affairs that could not otherwise be so when only men are dominating these decision making instruments even though by being involved does not neccesarily mean that they will cause a very significant impact in the entire system but at lesat we say they are involved and they do participate in as far as the issue of desicion making process is concerned.

Thinking that women are inferior is a big misconception in the world. Who started promoting that idea. Man or woman is never superior or inferior than the other. The negative is never inferior than the positive; the black is never inferior than the white; cold is never inferior than heat. Based on the concept of balance, a woman and a man is both one half of the whole of a person. Nobody can exist without the other. The concept of gender inequality is a based on the principle and theory of the oppressor. These people want to justify their exploitation. Let us be calm on this issue. Women are not enemies of men or vice versa. They are necessary counterparts. Nobody can do it alone.

We should all realize that there are things that we can do that others can't, and vice versa. IN GENERAL, women can't hit the golf ball as far as a man. There are exceptions of course, but in general, it is true. Just about anyone, male or female can drive a golf ball better than me since I have no clue what I'm doing. I think we need to see that in most things, women and men are equal. When it comes to strength, men are usually better. When it comes to endurance, women are better.

Perhaps a better question should be: "How should inferiority of any kind be managed?" Take your lame rhetorical question for example. Should we continue to let you post here along side much more legitimate questions (Yahoo's version of affirmative action), or should there be a qualitative evaluation of each participant which would allow them to post their question on a certain level--the better questions and answers posted at the higher levels and the worse questions and answers posted at the lower levels. One could rise and fall if they improve or worsen respectively.
For now, we'll just "carry" you at this level and hope your questions improve. Good luck with that.

I'm a women, and in engineering (a field dominated by men) and I hate the idea of affirmative action. I think I believe in capitalism so much that I don't understand who would hire someone who wasn't the absolute best regardless of gender or race. I think there is no need for affirmative action.

Im a guy wondering why you would ask this question. I definitly don't think that their should be affirmative action. I would hope that employers would hire based solely on ability and not sex. I know women and men are different but my experience and believes don't place them as inferior.

women should never feel inferior , be treated inferior and is never inferior..
women's rights are human rights, too
Society, Church, Culture, Media, Education these institutions contributed a lot to gender bias, especially to women..
We are in the process of changing things with gender perspective thinking.

I got curious, and decided to read your profile-- man, you have a vicious streak! You really do like to piss people off!!
There are areas where us women are inferior, I agree- I'm not near as strong physically as my husband and I never will be!
There are areas where us women are superior. Check your local neo-natal unit. Talk to one of the nurses about male vs female patients.
