I'm kinda of a shy guy, i dont talk much, i avoid attetion, im self councious...etc. but when i walk on a corridor full of ppl i feel that i get a bad vibe from ppl when i dont look at random faces while walking, like when i wanna get from A to B i just start walking focused on my destination, so much that i miss ppl that know me and they have to either tap me or call out my name, i think this is bad because sometimes i miss ppl making them feel i dont wanna talk to them so I'm just wondering if this is normal or somehting that i have to start working on improving?

okay, hear me out!
we (esp women) are told fairy tales during our childhoods about true love & knights in shining armor that come to the rescue and of living happily ever after, with little or no effort--esp from the "damsel" if you notice, prince charming always has to overcome some type of obstacle (not a realistic one, but something)...

so do you think this unattainable goal that we've had instilled in us since childhood (effortlessly happily ever after) has anything to do with being dissatisfied with marriage or relationships in general? i know, it's just a fairy tale... but at some point it was a dream for most little girls, a dream we have to wake up from if we hope to have a genuine relationship.

maybe some don't truly wake up from this dream?

maybe some truly think that "true love" from "prince charming" will come & sweep them away & "rescue them", & without any effort on their part, they will "live happily ever after"?

To save more money, I share this small apartment with my brother, my own blood-relative left... just the two of us. I'm 21 and he's 22. I don't know how or why, but there's mean gossip out there that I'm having incest with my own brother! These feminist gossipers also impliy that I'm a weak as a woman who still depends on a man so much, a not-so-independent woman (although they seem don't care that this "man" is still my own blood-brother here!)

My brother just laughs at it since we're not inbreeding at all. We are so closed as brother and sister, but not that close... okay, we are closer than a brother and sister normally are and I do come to him everytime I need care and comfort from someone whom I truly trust....

Tell me then, have I done something wrong here? I do love him so much, but not that much....

I know everyone must feel this sometimes. I am so sick to death of everything right now. I keep trying to make the right choice, but my life gets worse instead of better. I'm making changes that logically will improve my life, but I feel miserable. My relationship with my husband is suffering, I have no desire to go to church anymore, and I'm short on patience in general.

I just want to quit, but I can't. There is no break in sight, not even a day. How does one keep going when life just stinks.

I know, I can hear it now, things will get better, but unless I hit the lottery, that really is impossible. So, how do you just accept a crappy life. I feel bad that this is all I have to offer my kids.

At what point will you say we have arrived econimically? When everyone makes exactly the same amount? Because that would only be about 35k each, and our economy would be in a complete standstill. The stock market would crash, and the economy that relies on capitalization would fail. We would not be able to afford the government we have, and so do not think government will provide.

I am a male and Im unable to conceive the natural way. (due to a health condition)
I had to have a testiciclur biospsy in order for us to get sperm. I have sperm stored at the hospital (frozen)
In order to proceed with IVF (ICSI) we had to attend a seminar which was to educate us of the process. About 100 people attended the seminar.
I felt very uncomfortable, and so did my wife. As we entered the room where the seminar was being held my wife kicked off (stampinghher feet, hufffing, tutting) I tried to calm her down but she made it obvious to EVERYONE she didnt want to be there.
During the seminar she put cotton wool in her ears and started reading a book! Thought the whole seminar she was muttering things. My wife made the whole experience 100 times worse.

We pay on average 10,000 Dollar a year taxes, per person. We have worst infrastructures in the western world. Our education sucks. We fell to 19th place for GDP per capita. Our healthcare cost double as much as Europe's and is half as good. Where does our money go, building new subdivisions? Anybody know?

I think that pretty people in our society have it better than those of us who are not physically attractive. Tyra Banks did a show where she dressed up as a fat woman but no one knew she was Tyra (the famous model/talk show host).

People in society mistreated Tyra as she lived THE FAT LIFE for one day. It was a terrible experience. I am not downgrading fat people. This post is simply about knowing that pretty people have it easier than most people who are not pretty.

Recall the phrase "Blondes Have More Fun"? Well, I think pretty people have more fun in our society. The same applies in the work force. Pretty people (stupid or smart) get the job while the ugly folks are told to TALK TO THE HAND.

Your view? Your experience?

how can you explain something to a toddler in diapers when all they really want is a lick of daddy's ice cream cone? I think we need to be better parents and stop struggling and trying to reason with them! That capacity has just not come on line mentally for them yet!

My experiment basically involves testing peoples memory of words. Words are flash up on the screen one after the other, and then a list of words is shown at the end, where the individual selects the words they have seen. Now,my dilemma is... the words are either in black or colour - I'm testing if colour has an impact on words remembered - so would it be better to have some people using only black words, and others using coloured, or to have the words mixed (and the colouring reversed for the other group)? I hope this makes sense. I really need feedback as I'm doing my dissertation on this.

Also, anyone willing to be a participant, or even a tester, please get in touch too!!!

Thank you!!!
