From one extreme to another. When you cross the road and the traffic light for the car driver says green but he doesn't go ahead. Do you go ahead because you're right or be careful and wait. On the other hand we have been waiting for peace but someone gets in the way?

I believe there is usually always somebody in the way. In traffic, in the grocery, or in the peace process. That's why I always go heavily armed.

I would try to see if there was any small symbols painted on the drivers door, something like the WWII fighter pilots painted next to their cockpit, enemy fighter planes they shot down, only in this case, it would be small white symbols of how many people he has run over, or vehicles he has crashed into or whatever, and wait til this particular driver realized that I wasn't eager to be remembered by having a little white sysmbol painted on the drivers door. I would wait.,
afterall, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

I know that you are looking for a serious answer here and I am just in a playful mood, silly to some extent.
