Good question. It would depend on the factors resulting in a "horrible death". And definition of "horrible" and peacefully is very subjective. I choose 6 months and peaceful.

Generally, people who only have 6 months to live, don't die peacefully.
You see this question asked a lot(not necessarily on
Y!A) and sometimes in movies. I'm just not sure where this idea came from, that you can possibly have a time period left in your life, and on that day/moment, you simply go to sleep, and pass away peacefully.
My answer: I would rather have a long life, and a horrible death that only felt horrible for a few minutes, than to live in complete agony for 6 months due to being extremely ill and knowing I'm on my deathbed in a hospital.

I agree with the person who said it depends what "horrible death" really means. Dying peacefully is definitely more appealing than dying a horrible death, but only having 6 months to live is kinda scary to think about too. So I don't know. I'd have to think about that for awhile. :)

I pick the 6 months.
I have been close to death several times. Each time it happened, I felt like I was being tortured and prayed that it would end, one way or another. I really wonder if any death is peaceful...

Either way I would die peacfully because I believe in everything happens for a reason. If I was meant to die a horrible death so be it. I'm sure I did something to deserve it if I had a long life.

If horrible is quick, there's no question. If it involves any screaming on my part, I'd opt for the 6 months.
