I just got in an argument because i was over-reacting and now I'm growing angry with myself for over-reacting and I'm getting myself all riled up... what's a good way to chill out?

I am having my Masters of Science in Psychology and thesis is one of our requirements. I have difficulty finding a new topic happening nowadays in our society, Philippines. I am aware that I have limited resources and information as to what are the daily experiences of Filipinos that affect our growth as a person, as a family, and as a society. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. I need your help. Thank you.

I have worked in a financial company for 16 years and I have great experience! I am not sure if its the company I depise for diferent reason or I am just burned out from the job and I need to do something else. I work hard always and go the extra mile. My career counselor told me I should temp for a while maybe that might be a good thing!! I am so sad and drained from this all but I know I need to so something else..Have you every made career changes in your life? In the end when you made the jump was it worth it??

Since I've away at my dad's house I've been having feelings of qualm and pang, but not really anymore. When I think about and have good times with my mom, this feeling comes over me that I began to think about what happens when she dies? Will we ever meet again in heaven? I do this with all m family memebers. So could it be I miss her or what?

This is kind of dirty but it doesn't make me sad to see my mom sad, she began to cry because my grandfather recently pass away, But I felt nothing. But when my grandma is down I break down. Do I miss my mom?

In my dream, I am walking through a forest. And as I am walking, I can see myself searching and clearing through the the brushes and greenery when all of a sudden I see something that interests me in a very still lake. This water was not moving or babling. Just clear, still water. So I draw in closer and closer and I see laying in the water a big Lion. This Lion was laying on it's side. It appeared to be in a period of rest. It wasn't sleeping as I didn't see any chest movements. But it was just laying there. And I just peered into the water, looking at this big lion (male) in the water.

Can someone tell me what this could mean for my life? I am puzzled at the thought of finding a Lion laying on its side , in water, in the (what seemed to be) forest. Please help me, what could this mean for me?

I have a really bad temper and when I become angry my face gets red and my blood pressure skyrockets as I try to hold my tongue. It drains me to keep my mouth shut when I feel the need to say something. Any advice on controlling my anger?

A few weeks ago, we had tens of thousands of people lined up around the block waiting to buy $500-600 cell phones, many to be used by young children, terrified that the stores might run out or that the quality might not be up to expectations.

Tomorrow night, tens of thousands more will be lined up around the block to buy the lastest "Harry Potter" children's novel, while the debate rages as to which fictional characters might die.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world, people line up around the block to buy a loaf of bread or a quart of milk or a sack of flour, hoping the store doesn't run out first. And for millions more, the only reading materials are billboards, if that.

Anything wrong with this picture? For the sake of argument, that is.

Abortion is evil. There are other options usch as adoption or keeping your legs closed until marriage. Most of the people who get abortions havent been raped. Most of them were just careless. Abortion is not birth control, Yet america continues to allow people to kill their babies.

my instructor has assigned the class a 7-page mini-term paper for the semester. He says that it can be on any topic related to anthropology. I am thinking about writing about how multi-racial people live and interact in everyday life.

He's not good for her at all. He drinks everyday all day and when he gets drunk he goes on these rampages. I've never known of him to hit her. He just throws things and yells and says horrible things. She leaves, but always goes back to give him another chance. She even moved out of state to get away from him and start new. She went back again. She told me if things get too bad again that she will leave. Well, I just had this dream that I went to visit. Everything seemed fine when I went in. After a playing with his granddaughters (there's really only one but in my dream there was another one). After a while, I asked where my mom was. Before his daughter could stop her my stepsister(from my mom's last marriage of 10 years) told me they were outside and my mom had been laying on the ground since he hit her. Anger instantly rushed through my body. I was getting ready to go tell her how mad i was that she didn't leave. I looked out the window and she was laying on the ground.
