Understanding Women Is not one of my Strong Points; Help Me! What are the Major Differences Betweeen Men and Women? Especially when it comes to Sex, Money and Marriage?

Hey...Mr. Downtown L.A.! Listen...it's simple...women want sex only if they believe you are really attracted to them. Money? We all like money...women want security...the man is the stable one, so, we depend on him to provide for our happiness...I'm not talking about fancy material items...I'm referring to a home, furnishings, college for the kids, etc. We want someone who respects us, listens to our needs and remains faithful. Someone who wants to make us happy, genuinely.

Since most of the stuff we learn about is from a male perspective, and white male at that, it can be considered men's studies. We already have a male's point of view about thing so now it's time to hear what other people-females and minority males-have to say.

It is very difficult for a man to understand women. The first thing to understand is that women want men who are men. Not macho men necessarily, although some women are drawn to that. Everyone is different. The major difference between the sexes in relationships is that men seek to establish their position, women seek to explore who someone is. Thus, men have a tendency to let everyone who they are, such as "I'm bad. Don't mess with me." Women sit back and say, "Okay, let's see how bad this guy is. Will he rise to the occasion or dig a hole for himself. If he digs a hole, I'll ditch him."
Men can play the women's game - for a while anyway. To do that you have to listen, ask questions, don't really state anything, be sensitive but strong, and try to hear what someone is saying. Don't try to solve every problem, just acknowledge it and say, "Gee how does THAT make you feel?" or "I can understand why you seem to feel that way, ..."
Many women also like to feel like their man has to be taken care of and they like someone who will take care of them, and surprise them in a good way sometimes.
That's a little bit. I hope it helps. I think people should be treated well, like they are special, and you should mean it. And that is my cardinal rule.

sex - guys foreplay lasts 5 minutes, womens start 24 hours prior, also, the slower you move during sex, the faster the overall process (ie rushing ruins it for us and it takes longer)
money - women like to spend money just like guys do, we just spend money on different things ie perfume vs drill bits
marriage - this one varies, but I think what it boils down to once you marry and have kids is we look for a father that participates and doesnt just complain about being tired at the end of the day
but dont generalize us, although many women are like this, it doesnt mean we all are.

Women view the world as something to be explored.
Men view the world as a problem to be solved.
Figure that out and be confident. You'll be fine.

Generally men and women aren't really that different. Both have high hopes and want to be loved. ~
It is their perception of that, that is different. Women are nesters and look for someone they would like to build a nest with. Someone they feel protected by and who will supply their needs.

Women are crazy.
The only time they really like sex is a week or so before their period. Check their calendar.
Money = love. Okay, so maybe we're not THAT materialistic, but we still love new shoes.
And no matter what a girl tells you, they all dream of getting married. But maybe they don't want to yet.

you do not have to understand a woman. just love her.
