I do the breathing technique 1st then I listen to music or better yet go someplace where all you can see is green like a park or a garden.

A great way to 'chill out' is just to back off and watch your self having this heavy conversation with your self. Do not judge, do not act on what your conversation speaks to you, just watch: like you were watching a river from a distance. In some areas there are wild rapids, and in some areas the river is smooth and serene. You are the river, but the language you speak to yourself is what riles up the waters. You have become so good at having this conversation with your self that you are using those same words to think that you are your conversation. You are the water that makes the river, not the calm spots or the frothy rapids. Chill out, read a good book... I would recommend something like, 'The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle.
Language, and especially the words and meaning that you are using on yourself, is a tool. Go back to school in your mind and become a master carpenter with your words. Step into the now. Life is a river, not just one little space in time.
I wish you well...Peace.

Embrace it, suppressing emotions isn't healthy if you just go through the emotion and feel it, it will pass. Put some head phones on, put on some hard rock and let that anger fly.
Ever heard of Saint Anger?

Ask yourself "In 100 years will this really matter?". If it will then get upset. If it won't then please take those deep breaths and go into your zone of pleasure, where ever that may be in your head.
