all the horrible things that take place in our world every day, especially to children. like that poor little girl that was kidnapped and kept across street from her home the whole time and was tortured and buried alive, for some reason that sweet baby's story just got to my very soul. all child related crimes bother me, and all adult ones do to , but that one just stands out in my head....Jessica lunsford, is anyone familiar with her story, well it really kills me. i guess because i have kids myself and if something happened to them i would go crazy.

I get chills when I realize how interrelated people's lives are. For instance, there is a certain scene in "It's a Wonderful LIfe," the James Stewart movie where he gets to see what the world would have been like without him. George Bailey pulls his little brother out of a hole in the ice. Later his brother goes to war as a pilot and saves the lives of many men on a transport ship. When the guardian angel tells George Bailey that his brother died as a child, George says "It's a lie! Harry Bailey went to war - he saved the lives of hundreds of men on a transport ship!" Then the angel says, "No, George, all those men died, because Harry wasn't there to save them, because you weren't there to save Harry!" Sentimental? You bet, but it gives me chills every time I hear it. Because there's truth in it.

Seeing someone step on & kill a poor defenseless bug or spider.

Why do people do that?? Leave the poor little things alone! They have the right to exist.

Cruelty of mankind to so many living things. I mean outright cruelty, like some enjoy inflicting pain on the innocent.

I get chills when I see animals or children abused. I also get chills when I see racism because we are all connected. Whatever we do to someone else, we do to ourselves.
