I had a very disturbing dream the other night, even if the feeling in it was good... I dreamed about being "inside" my husband... ME I was "wearing" him, like a coat or somehing. I remember putting my(his) hands on the face, and FEELING his face.... And the feeling was PURE JOY, of an intense intimity. I also remember him - not visualy, more like a feeling - watching me with a content smile.
I'm usually good in translating dreams, but this one really freaks me out... It means I want to control him or just that I'm still very much in love with him? (which I am). Please help, any suggestion will do, pshicological or esoterical or whatever...

Does it happen to you that you feel as if you are behaving without any control over yourself? Sometimes when I talk I feel like this. I speak too much then, and speak even things which I should not speak in public. Why does this happen? It is not that I take drug or alcohol etc and this also does not happen all the time. Do you feel like this at times? Is it nervousness?

Well as usual he showed up again. In my dream he took over my daughter's body, he wanted something. I made myself wake up before he had a chance to tell me. I just wish he'd go away.

I repeatedly dream of being in situations where I have no control. Two themes which occur most often are having no voice and car crashes. What do you think this means and is there anything I can do? When I have nightmares I can't go back to sleep, so I'd like to stop them.

Totaly hypathetical question. What would you do If someone killed a person you love ( I know a bit morbid) and you found out before the police where they live and you were 100% sure it was them? Would you call the police? or take the law into your own hands? Personally I would do to them what they had done to my loved one.. What would you do?

Can you train your thoughts to wander to good memories instead of bad? Why does an insult from a known jerk become the memorable comment when mixed with a hundred compliments from people you respect?

Say you were at your office just having a fun, flirty conversation with some married guy and they say to you at some point "you're too much woman for me".

Is it just the "no go" sign? or is he actually getting afraid?

Actually, I just made that term up. We people of the world are spending billions of dollars seeking extra terrestrial life without one shred of evidence that such life actually exists. We so passionately desire to find life out there that we don't have to have proof that it even exists.

It seems to me that as we want something more, we demand less evidence of that something even existing. This is human nature, I think, and it is not unreasonable. Is there an already-in-existence term in psychology that refers to this aspect of human nature?
