God, being Spirit, is neither man nor woman.
If one must think of God in human terms, the closest approximation would be hermaphrodite - the embodiment of both male and female qualities. But this is too limiting and not entirely accurate, since Spirit is not flesh and requires no physical body.
Our earthly languages do not contain words to describe all that God is.

When Jesus died on the cross they laid him in the tomb. The next day when they went to check on him the stone covering to tomb was rolled away. Therafter he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the !!!father!!!. So yeah God is man after all, hope this helps out.

Actually the Bible is very clear that God is a man. Yes he is a spirit, but he came in human form as a man - Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that Jesus is God in human form, so one would think that God is a man. Sorry to upset your woman theory. Stay blessed!

I think that one of the biggest problems with contemporary religion is that we insist upon giving God human characteristics. If you want to get technical about it, God is both male AND female, because God is everything, no?

God is wo (woman) + man (male). God is love, and he is all things and through him everything and anything is possible. Both wo+man are one and both make up the word woman. God is the spirit of all of us and we are of the spirit of him. God is all things and God is good therefore making woman and men good and all good things are of God!

Only in this level 'world' there is a division betwem these energys. Because of this when you make love with your opposite you become a god.
