Say you were at your office just having a fun, flirty conversation with some married guy and they say to you at some point "you're too much woman for me".

Is it just the "no go" sign? or is he actually getting afraid?

I think he realized he was getting in over his head. He probably was having a lot of fun flirting, and wanted to go further, but remembered he was married and so he thought that you would understand what he meant by saying that, and it was an easy out for him.
Stick with the single guys...they are a lot less heartache!

In the movie, "Gone with the Wind" when Ashley said the same thing to Scarlett ... it basically meant, "You'll never compair to Melony." in a flirty way that "lead" Scarlett to keep chasing him.

So, He's stringing you along; or, "He's just not that into you".

i would say that maybe he thinks he led you on a bit and isnt willing to go through with it so he is trying to back out w/o hurting your feelings.
