not all time of my life was going smoothly. usually, it was struggling with inner and outisde problems. can I consider such chalenges of life as the way of my intelectual and spiritual growth?
are problems oportunity for growth? am I wiser than before? am I becoming highly developed person by simply dealing with my problems and reflecting and acting to solve them? is it possible that such negative events even speed up my development?

in a nut shell, i lost the true genuine affection i had for my husband in about 2004,but have stayed for the various "common sense" reasons someone stays with someone else..not wanting to rock the boat..ect. the classic, i love him, but i am not in love with him any more, and that is very sad

last year i met another man that i have developed feelings for in spite of myself.

so-I have managed to work up the guts think about actually leaving, but not nessecarily because i want to get with this other guy.-it is just that now that I have met this other guy, I see all kinds of possibilities for personal growth outside of married life.

I know if I left my husband, a good amount of time would have to pass before i even thought of seeing anyone else-

i am asking for clarity, maybe some questions to ask myself about this situation. need to separate the 2 issues to make sure i am leaving my husband for the right reason, rather than it looking like i left him for this other guy

I did something very strange today.
I'll leave out the details, suffice to say that I over-reacted very badly and violently over a small thing in a shopping mall.

The strange thing is, I do not remember having conscious control over my reactions. For a period of about 5 minutes, I acted in a manner resulting in the police being called. I was almost like a spectator watching.

I will be seeing professionals about this, but i am curios.
What kind of symptoms are these, psychologically?

I'm looking through some past parers, preparing for my exam, one question has came up asking

'' what is the definition of a primary attatchment''

We have done attachments but in my books, there is no primary attatchment. I feel it has simply been worded differently to confuse us....

Is this an Ok answer....

A primary attachment is the first and most important attatchment in a childs life. This is the pathway for all later emotional bonds, so the primary attatchment has to be stong and the child must be able to trust the attatchment figure completely.

Any other answers coz it kinda threw me off course...

Thanks x

months!

Employee that unscrews bolts in table at work -

How disgruntled is an employee that unscrews the bolts in the table of the conference room?

Our conference table collapsed on us during a meeting. Luckily no one was really injured although one woman had it land on her knee.

It was a calculated act as the table grew more and more wobbly with each meeting until it finally collapsed - now they use the "good" half for meetings!

We have suspicision that one of our very passive aggressive employees did this, but have no proof.

Seriously, if you're that unhappy, wouldn't you just quit?

Does anyone have any other examples of disgruntled employees in the workplace?

Thanks in advance!

i'm suffering from depression, and i get very nervous and freaked out in social situations. i feel very exposed and stupid in public. i'ev been this way for so long and it's stuffing up my life more than you could ever imagine. i'ev seen councellors and all the proffessionals. nothings helped. should i just go out there and push through my fears, just pretend i'm not nervous, and fight for what i want? is this the only way to overcome problems?

..........between thinking to yourself and talking to yourself like your insane? ie Some people talk to themselves when they are trying to concentrate on something but I'm sure this does not make them insane. Or to put it another way how do you know if you have 'voices' in your head or your just thinking?

Or do you label something as 'wrong' or 'ugly' to discourage yourself from moving towards it.

Do you acknowledge your attraction towards things or do you re-interpret them as unattractive if you dislike the consquences they may have in your life/ want to lessen the hold they have over you.

Have you noticed yourself pushing aside the initial attraction and convincing yourself it didn't ever exist?

Do you find it difficult to integrate the feeling and the judgement. How does this affect the way you live your life?

What behavioural patterns have you noticed within yourself as a result of these translational thought processes?
