it's a way for the brain to wind itself down after a day of overstimulation. in a growing kid's brain, the phenomenon is more prevalent. some kids sleepwalk after too much daytime excitement, while others talk, laugh, cry, etc.

they are most likely very tired after having a long fun day and after having a long day their mind may have some stressful dreams which actually come from having an active day, it is not ssomething to worry about, the childs mind will sort itself out during their sleep inorder to get proper rest.

unhandled pain from their past
it could be loss of a loved one
and things that are too hard to
handle in their waking hours
ive had thos problems
from the loss of my mother
it was always the fact that I couldnt
handle talking to someone about it
so I would take my feelings out while
I was asleep
