Has anyone noticed that you can't go for more then one hour of watching the news before hearing about some 30 year old being charged with the rape of a 16 or 15 year old girl. I understand that some of these kids look 20 but mentally they have the mind of a child for god's sake. How these child molesters even manage to get a hard on is beyond my understanding. And the thought of a child molester becoming a father himself. Sometimes it makes me believe there is no God.
Why do so many child molesters exist and why doesn't the government just lock these people away for life.

I had an arguement with a prominent gentleman when he announced I was waiting in the weeds. I confronted him in private and he told me it was a compliment. I do not see it as such. I am wondering if he or myself have a convoluted view?

I know that if we miss out on REM dreaming we build up something called sleep debt and this must be recovered at some stage. People who have hypersomnia have decreased or absent REM and therefore sleep excessively but still feel tired. WHy exactly is REM important?

For example, you don't see many models and actors delving into comic books and anime, becoming janitors, or working at McD's.

And you don't see many Computer Scientists and Programmers stepping into the UFC Ring to box it out with the latest champion.

How do our looks determine our futures?...and should we change our looks if it's not who we wanna be? Do you personally know anyone who overcame their looks to be whatever they wanted to be?

if we think about it, then compared to males, god has cursed females with many things- be it virginity, their monthly menstruation etc. also, its they who have to bear a baby and not only carry it for 9 months, but then cause disfiguration of one's body figure due to childbirth. its they who have to feed him. and also, unlike men, women have been cursed with breasts that they have to keep managing all the time since puberty. females are physically weaker than men, have shorter average heights and weaker muscles. females are more susceptible to osteoporosis with age, and more prone to breast cancer. does it mean that god too thinks that females are weaker and so he designed them to be inferior to men?

I am trying to write a paper on teens who live in a constant state of turmoil, self created. I need to formulate my thoughts and gather ideas for this paper. I am thinking about teens who are constantly arguing with other people, engaging in high risk behavior, etc. Is it a function of narcissim? What is propelling this constant need to create a situation that brings the attention of others? Is it a reflection of bi-polar disorder? Symptomatic of something else like problems at home. Or is it just a cry for help. What does it mean when these patterns carry over into adulthood. Any thoughts? Thank you!

If women were truly considered equals there would be no need for it. It seems rather condescending to me.

Guys, I heard about this topic on XM Radio. Does this REALLY go on? I mean these women insist on guys calling them "goddess" and they call their husbands slaves. These guys cook and clean and bow to every whim of their women. Somehow I don't think it is that extreme.
