My best friend decapitated in an auto accident. I was pinned in next to him for 3 hours. I will never, ever get through a single day without seeing it in my head.

Oh honey... We haven't the time or space here to go through all of it... and after telling you, you wouldn't believe half of it anyway.

I have lived quite a life so far... Most of it is not for printing in an open forum.

That's what my poetry page is for.

I would have to say though that the thing that effected me most so far was seeing my murdered brothers body on the front page of the newspaper a few days after it happened, and being swarmed by news reporters on my front lawn 10 minutes after hearing about his death by a prick cop who I hated and who I knew hated him and couldn't care less... That was a messed up week for me! and him too I guess?

Everything else after that... was a cake walk really. No matter how bad it ever got.

The Suicide of a homeless man at the City College extension at 4th & Market on Dec 23rd about 10 years ago. He leapt from the roof, and slammed into the roof of the 30 Stockton bus, and flopped into the street. I ran to his side and he was looking in my eyes when the lights in them went out. I never saw someone die before.

Watching my entire family get tortured and murdered by Chechnyan terrorists when I was only 4 years old. They killed my father and then raped, tortured, and shot my mother and 8 year old sister. More details than that you do not want to know.

I have to remember every one of the details all the time everyday for the rest of my life. Even drugs and therapy don't help all that much.

She bounced off and rolled down the road like a rag doll about 50 feet... i ran down to see how she was and her head was in a huge puddle of blood. it was pretty bad

My husband was diagnosed with meningitis but no one ever said, "he could die" directly. Making life-death decisions that to determine his medical treatment. This over four months and included serious interventions, surgeries, and more.

I survied, he survied, and I made the right decisions but those awful weeks are etched in my brain forever!
