For example, you don't see many models and actors delving into comic books and anime, becoming janitors, or working at McD's.

And you don't see many Computer Scientists and Programmers stepping into the UFC Ring to box it out with the latest champion.

How do our looks determine our futures?...and should we change our looks if it's not who we wanna be? Do you personally know anyone who overcame their looks to be whatever they wanted to be?

it's not about a person acting a certain way directly because of how they look, its about a person acting the way others expect them to becuase of the way they look (e.g tall people are seen as leaders and therefore feel the burden that people place on them) this question really is about social norms and how they influence our daily lives, people don't really have any other way of judging you if they don't really know you so ofcourse it's easier for a person to pursue a future that coincides with the way they look.
