Social Science - 11 November 2006

Now before I start, I am not into porn...but I am into free speech and have run into some people making the argument that these two things are hurtful to women. As far as I see it, as long as they do so voluntarily, how is it bad for them? They were not forced, so if they want to give lap dances or get plowed by some horseman on film, what is the problem? (I would argue however they have some serious emotional issues). Perhaps I am not looking at the big picture here, so please ladies, enlighten me.

In many oriental cultures people continue to eat fish heads even though they could afford the whole fish. In American black culture people eat pigs feet even though they could afford to eat pork chops...or the gut of an animal when they could afford to eat a roast. These people express eating these foods as a preference ....there is a name for this phenomenon and it is .....?

a long time ago my brothers' friend died and he was young ever since then i fear death or i feel like i am going to die young.... the thought consumes me everyday and it brings me down sometimes and then i usually think about when i go to sleep and sometimes i just want to cry i can't get over it......HELP!

People say that masturbating feels good, but i just don't get, why can't i get the pleasure. My friend said i just have to pluck my finger (haha) but sadly i don't feel anything.
I'm 16 and I think I'm too young for sex and scared i will regret it, but my intentions for sex are high...don't know why, maybe because i'm lonely.
Sooo... i think masturbating is useless for me and sometimes i got this feeling that i don't like to masturbate or touching myself. I can't imagine why girls are moaning or say that it's a great feeling while having sex. How does it feel like? (for ppl who have had experience it)
Sometimes when i'm studying i can hardly concentrate, coz i'm thinking bout it all the time (really disturbing & irritating but can't get away from it)

He is being very persistent and kind of obnoxious about it, actively trashing everybody else's views and beliefs.
The thing is that he has also been diagnosed with cancer and is currently starting chemo.
As his newly found religion seems to be a great source of comfort to him, our group of friends are in a situation where nobody dares to say anything in order not to antagonise him.
