It sounds like you need a good grief counsellor to help you deal with the passing of your friends brother and your fears and anxiety over the thought of it happening to you. It is normal to grieve, but not to be consumed by it. There's nothing wrong with going and speaking to someone to help you to understand your feelings.

This is easy. Every person on planet earth will someday die. So you should act like this is your last day to LIVE. Do the things in life that make you happy. Talk to loved ones and let them know you are glad you had a life together.
With so much to live for and so little to die with, you should not be worried about something in which you have no control.

What a horrible thought !!! Death is not something you plan or anticipate, it just happens when your time is up. You cannot sit there and dwell on it. Occupy your mind with pleasant things, take a trip somewhere, party with friends, answer questions on yahoo , and remember one thing.... every day you get up in the morning, that becomes a good day, because the rest of the day becomes what you make of it.... the day you don't get up, not much you can do there. Enjoy your life to the fullest and don't think of death... think of life.

Maybe it would be good to talk to a priest or a counsellor. We will all die sometime, and it is good to be aware of that fact, but if the thought is distressing you so much you may need help coming to terms with your mortality.. God bless.

Your in grief sweetheart! - See a "Grief Counsellor" - try your local Funeral establishment. They have "grief" training and will help or at least know of a group you can join. Get a "HOLD" of this emotion NOW... before it takes "A HOLD" of you. There are many organizations out there that will help you for FREE - take advantage of them and join and get the help you need NOW. I am praying for you my little one, take care of yourself, no one else will.Your mental health is the Life Line of your existence, without it you will always be sad, unhappy, fretful, and develop a sleep disorder. Promise me now, that you will take care of this, ASAP. Now go and watch something funny and laugh alot, its good for your heart and soul.

how old are you ? you shouldnt be affraid of death because it is an eventuality. All you can do is avoid situations where there is a very high chance of getting killed.
