I had been with this guy for two years. but i had to break up with him cuz i found it impossible to love him...the break up went pretty easy...we decided to remain friends. few days ago, i ended up with a new guy..now we both like each other a lot. but my ex now is asking me to go out on a date with him again. he said it is ok if i keep my new boyfriend, but i must go out with him too just as friends. however he also made it clear that he wants me to be romantic with him all over again. he also said to me that he was sure that i still have feelings for him (thats wrong) n i must not let it go. yet he doesn't want me as his girlfriend n he is not jealous of the other guy. right now he is too desperate...when i became single he didn't show this kind of feelings towards me, but now that i am with someone else he is urging me to spend time with him. i simply said no, but he is still forcing me. what exactly is in his mind?

Why are some older women threatened by young smart women?
For example, an older woman accused a good looking man of writing a love letter to a younger woman. In this case, the younger woman is richer, smarter and more talented than the older woman.

including this question

i guess i have to study math or something cut and dried like that.

anything else where you express yourself or show some creativity... i just can't do it. i worry way too much about the result, before i've even begun.
even if what i'm doing turns out okay and somewhat acceptable to other people.... i know myself that it sucks.
papers, audio recordings, things like that.

i guess i always want what i submit to be above what i'm capable of producing. so things i do will always be failures no matter what.

so..... what do i do?

What phenomenon is illustrated by this example?
Let's say person A is a huge U2 fan, and person B is neutral, but hears a new U2 cd before person A. Person B tells person A how terrible the cd is and says "there is no way you will like it; it is terrible because of this and that." Naturally, person A (being the huge U2 fan) will very possibly come out LOVING the cd because person B has belittled something person A loved, regardless of what person B has to say about it.

I hope that was clear, but basically I am describing the phenomenon where one person has something they love attacked and therefore sticks even closer to that thing when someone else tries to attack it. Another example could be a Christian who only believes in creationsim more and more when arguing with an evolutionist who presents so-called "facts." The mere fact that the evolutionist is questioning it only makes the creationist stick to his faith stronger.

Can someone please tell me what this is called?

What do you women find more attractive... a guy that has a lot of money but doesn't talk about it and show it off or a guy that drives a nice car and shows it off a little bit... but not bragging? .... like if u met a rich guy would u prefer to think he's poor and like him and then find out he's rich?

I am designing a survey to give out at work to find out why the turn over rate has increased so much in the last two years. What type of variables should I inquire about. My hypothesis is: Employees who feel underappreciated at work tend to have a poor work attitude, thus move on to other companies.

I just came across "The Da Vinic Method" (different from the Da Vinci Code) which is about ADD and the Da Vinci personality. It
comes across as a very interesting book. It is more like a self-help book. Have you read it and did it help?
