i had some awesome pictures of blazing fire from bonfire night last night...upon looking at them with others...we were looking to see what we could see in the fire and flames...i noticed that sometimes people could be looking at the same place or a different one and see the same or a different thing but some people seemed to look to the right and others to the left...i think this is a left/right side of the brain thing but can someone explain how this works in detail to me please as im very curious...thanks ;0)

i amtrying to figure out whether or not living in a more lively part of town will help me feel less isolated. i live alone in a quiet sleepy area and feel lonely a lot of the time. i have the opportunity to uproot myself and go live somewhere more "cosmopolitan" but i don't know if this will help me or not. if you are unhappy does this feeling go with you if you move?

Moving from a farm area, small town or a suburb, etc. there must be some significant changes made to our lives. What are some of them you have experienced. What are they good, bad, or indifferent, tell your experience in length.

I heard this theory that we are all afraid, subconciously, of huinger and thirst, and that this causes us to fight with our neighbours on a local, national and international level. Any truth in this argument?

i know this person who can easily talk to someone sitting next to her in class and can build up conversation with someone she doesn't know, and can talk to adults easily too. she can also participate in group conversations quite easily. however, she's afraid to participate in class, approach groups of people she doesn't know, and do anything that attracts attention, like go up to the teacher in front of the entire class. is this shyness or social anxiety?

Well everyone laughed

What's so funny about that? I laughed along though.

I have a person thats offline admitted to me that everything she is accusing me of online is what she in fact is secretly doing herself. She said she " suspects " and now declares I am doing such and such but it reminds me of some psych term I heard before that describes when a person publicly condemns and crusades against another and is in fact projecting their guilt for their own masquerade and secret struggle with what they are accusing of onto that person. It seems as if they are punishing others publicly for their own guilty conscience.

Like when a politician campaigns with hate and vigor against something he is doing or struggling with privately.

Isnt there a psych term for that ?
