I am a women and I use to ride in a garbage truck and pick up garbage just like the men. I worked with a lady there who had been picking up garbage for 20 years...She loved her job.

Their are not many. I agree but in the city I live in right now I do see a few.
It might be muscle mass, it might be that many women do believe that they could do the work, or may not want to. Also woman might be discouraged to work in the blue collar jobs due to the higher levels of overt sexism.

Pray that you don't get a front seat stuffed with garbage..provided by a single mom who makes better money than you...tolerating the smell to feed her child. I've seen some women in my day that would work circles around alot of men...And slinging trash is just another job.

Well you have obviously never been to NYC where lots of women work for the Department of Sanitation & do exactly what the men do.

well, maybe it is because of the same reason that woman have to give birth and men don't. Men help produce a child but you never see them doing all the hard work of giving birth.

Yes one would suppose this would be the case ..50/50 sounds right ....however men produce about 80% of all verbal garbage
that's sounds about right too.......
Just noticed this looks like a comment not an answer...so in answering your question ,men usually have a higher level of stamina than women ,this type of work would require much stamina I would think ....

It replaced into programmed into our minds from the 2d we've been defined as male. females are astonishing. We only like them. once you notice a cat doing something on YouTube you only flow "Awww". it somewhat is no longer a logical determination you probably did no longer settle on the cat is beautiful it only is. We only locate females and their bodies to be beautiful.
