Another user's question prompted mine, because I have noticed that we tend to most like the characters that we most stongly relate to. It is one of my favorite questions to ask, as it usually is accurate in telling me something about that person. Is that true of you & your characters that you chose? One of my workplaces, I took my own little survey, and had accurately pre-guessed all my co-workers answers except for one. She favored Eyore, and that was a surprise.

Let's say stem cell research AND cloning were legalized nation wide as some are proposing now. 45 year old Jane Doe is very ill and stem cell/cloning may well cure her. Jane has a healthy, married, mother of one, 24 year old daughter. If this daughter were to get pregnant, have the proper stem cells etc. removed from the fetus, then implanted into her mother, her mother may overcome her health problem. Is this a good idea? The stem cells would be of a direct blood line. A cure may well be possible. If stem cell research/cloning were legalized, this sort of scenario could be a reality. I have definate feelings on this issue but I will reserve them for now and ask your opinion. Thank You

When I was little, i lived in segregated down south, where the KKK was always lynching somebody, My mother being white with a black Boyfriend(no church would marry them, niether the city hall) would always look out the window when she heard something, I still do this today...at 35...and they would set up at night, listening for anyone coming around, because they would throw lit gas bottles at black peoples houses. We moved from there 20 years ago, but for some reason i still carry those fears around. Not all the time..but sometimes I get in a phase where i wont sleep at all at night for two or three days. I find sleeping in the day time more peaceful. Other than seeing a shrink...cause i know what they would say...It's in the past...face your fears, those things...but I can't shake the habit. I looked out the window so much...that when my dog hears something...he goes looking through the blinds...(i know)...anyone else has this going on?

Have you ever caught eyes with someone and you think 'there's something more going on here?' Like you can just tell that there's something more then they're showing. Something like they like you, or feel a connection with you, or they're feeling rather droppie?

Funny thing ain't it?

I just feel so... empty and alone and all this other crap. I don't know how to just feel better. I don't even know what's bothering me. I've been like this for about a week now. It's not depression. It's just this desire to do something great but i'm not going anywhere. And i can't talk to my best friend because i just get pissed off. I'm getting pissed off at the smallest of things.
And .... my husband is out of town for the year. I'll probably be seeing him in December. But i can't help but feel so damn alone.

And i feel alone when i'm with him as well.....

It's like i'm trapped or something.

I think so much about how i'm becoming a failure...

And the thing is, i'm not a failure. I'm in university. I'm expanding my knowledge.

But i'm just... so pissed off all the time.

I like him...

I think he's an amazing writer and although he's quite egotistical and considers himself superior to most of humanity, he's good at what he does.

And i think most of what he writes is the truth....

What do you think?

I've always had this fear of plugging electrical appliances (or plugging anything that has to do with electricity) because I was electrecuted (not severely though xD) before when I tried to plug the USB cord to the computer and it scared the crap out of me. I want to know how to overcome this fear or ways to help me plug things w/o getting scared.
