I just feel so... empty and alone and all this other crap. I don't know how to just feel better. I don't even know what's bothering me. I've been like this for about a week now. It's not depression. It's just this desire to do something great but i'm not going anywhere. And i can't talk to my best friend because i just get pissed off. I'm getting pissed off at the smallest of things.
And .... my husband is out of town for the year. I'll probably be seeing him in December. But i can't help but feel so damn alone.

And i feel alone when i'm with him as well.....

It's like i'm trapped or something.

I think so much about how i'm becoming a failure...

And the thing is, i'm not a failure. I'm in university. I'm expanding my knowledge.

But i'm just... so pissed off all the time.

CLASSIC signs of depression. If you don't want to deal with the anti-depressants with all their nasty side effects, here's what worked for me: St. John's Wort, 300mg. 3 times daily-the amount used in English and German medical trials for mild to moderate depression & was as effective or better than standard SSRI's. Also SAMe- a high quality foil blister pack as the good stuff is unstable. 400mg. in the morning and then again at night. Got me sleeping well again & back into the vital REM sleep-you'll know it "cause it's the only sleep where you dream.
Add Albizzia, as directed, a tincture by Dr. Micheal Tiearra from The East West Clinic in Santa Cruz, Ca. USA. Known as herbal Prozac, it's been used in Chinese medicine for centuries. It is especially good for treating the emotion, angry snap response.
I was on Prozac and then something else for years until the side effects became unbearable. These are as effective & better, with no side effects.
Also, just in case, if you have ADD/ADHD you will have dramatically lower levels of serotonin compared to the rest of the population, that is some of what I am dealing with also.
This should help you a lot. Could feel a difference in days, but most natural treatments need 3 weeks to really start seeing improvement, 3 months to see it at it's best.
Take good care.

Take a walk on skid-row.

If you survive, reconsider the luxury you are indulging in.

Talk it over with a professional, but don't expect miracles from anywhere but from within.

dukalink6... above may be right. Put full-spectrum lights in all your light fixtures, particularly the ones you spend the most time close to.

Try a change of pace . Whatever you are doing isn't working , obviously . Get a hobby . Excercize or take up dancing or swimming or water-aerobics . It will relieve some of the stress that is making you angry . Try volunteering . Join something .
Good luck .

Hon you need to find a Hobby to get your mind off of
everything. There are so many things that you can do
for yourself, your in a rut and need to climb out. Ask
God to help you, just get on you knees and talk to him,
I promise you he will listen.

And you don't think it's depression? Sure?

Having been there, it sounds like it to me. You should talk to someone - friend, counsellor, doctor...
