(Serious replys please) My adult son has been going through a terribly rough time and has been diagnosed with this. I look through the internet for a website, but am overwhelmed at all the information. Does anyone know of a good website for me to learn about this and to learn the tools to help him? He sees a doctor and is on medication, but as his mother I need to understand and help, too. Thanks in advance for anyone out there who can help...God bless.

Here are some points which shows that domestic animals are far superior than us.
We need clothes to protect us – they just don’t need
We take one year from birth to start walking – they take just a few hours
We cannot swim without learning – they can
We need house to stay – they don’t
We need doctors every now and then – they just get cured themselves
We need money for almost everything - they don’t need any currency
We need thousands of law to govern ourselves – they just follow law of nature
We cannot jump or climb easily – they do it effortlessly
We need their help many times – they don’t need our help
And so on……………

Finally, how dare we ourselves claim our superiority over other animals? Let there be election and then all animals would make sure that we loose miserably.

Anyone to contradict/support above ?

Why do some of our friends keep constantly testing our loyalty, but react negatively when the tables are turned and the same irritating burden is placed on them? .... Is that possibly a sign of insecurity and/or self-centeredness? Or is that a telltale sign of a deep previous emotional scar that the person cannot shake off and is now residually projecting upon you? … How would you prove to someone that you are a true and loving friend, short of becoming a string-puppet of his or her constant "fidelity tests"?

I met her a few days ago. She was crying in the hall by my door when I came home from work. I asked her what was wrong and she said her boyfriend and the father of the baby cheated on her, then left her. She said she lives upstairs. I told her to calm down and go home, also if she needed anything she could knock on my door. She knocked last night. She asked me in a really low tone that she wanted to sell me her cd player for $10. I told her not interested. She said she wanted something to eat so I gave her the money. I felt guilty, I was in my apt getting ready to go out to dinner with my boyfriend and here is a pregnant woman hungry. I left for dinner and saw her on the corner of my block. I could tell she didn't go to eat. I get home from a night out and she is in the hall on the steps, high, on drugs. I went home and cried thinking it is my fault I hurt a baby. This morning I saw her under the steps sleeping. I told the super who was outside. Should I do anything?

Maybe the best way is to suss out which amongst them is the alpha male and take the punk down, so all the little geeks around him run for their mummies. gimme your ideas...maybe mine is a bit too negative. maybe peace is the answer

What drives parents to dress their babies and toddlers in clothing that has animal ears, paws, tails, etc?

Would they have preferred to have taken in a pet, and unfortunately (in their eyes), got a human?

Or is there something more sinister going on here?

Does it harm the child's psyche to be dressed as pseudo rabbits/dogs/cats/bears/frogs/mice?
