Everyone who is sexually mature has some pubic hair, dear, men and women both. Some women, for whatever strange reason, shave theirs. I think that's beyond weird, but that's not what your question is about.

Pubic hair is normal for both sexes. If by your question you're saying that only men have pubic hair, that's incorrect. If you mean, why do women shave theirs, you got me. Like I said, very strange.

As a licensed health-care provider, I have a personal and professional opinion; however, I feel comfortable merging the two together to hopefully give some good advise. According to most the literature pubic hair, whether on girls or boys, is there for a specific reason. Scientifically speaking, it is thought to produce pheromones, which can be released to give a subconscious order to attract the opposite sex. With that being said, I once had a female student tell me God would not have put pubic hair to grow if shaving it was suppose to be done and it was wrong. I asked her, "Do you shave your legs or under your arms?" She smiled and walked away. I think it has become obvious, in western culture, that most females in child-bearing years keep their pubic hair neatly trimmed or completely shaven. I do agree with the view that it is a choice for each person to make, and there is no right answer. Personally, I don't see the need for any pre-teen to be shaving or waxing unless it becomes problematic for them in a bikini, for example. Yes, I'm aware there are plenty of very young girls engaging in full sexual activity, although it's only my opinion that this is not going to be productive for them, especially in the long-run. Outside of that, in practice I see that clearly most girls shave everything. From what I hear, most guys enjoy a girl with smooth legs, clean shaven underarms and, generally speaking, a smooth body all over. Be good to yourself! There is only one of you and your priceless.

Well because women are very particular about there body's these day's, going to the bathroom and such leaves germs in the hair, so we remove it, all of it , I shave my entire body everyday, sometimes 2x's, I make it a habbit,as part of my shower, Hope that anweres some of your question,I couldn't go quit into full detail here but I'm sure u get the picture.

kind of (the trend) and everybody wants to follow, it is just to feel secure by belonging to a group of majority ,escaping prejudice.
Initially,we were created ,men and women,so much alike and little bit different,we are all humans bottom line,so if we could go back to nature,everything will fall in place ...and pubic hair will be something to be proud of ,wether it was on a man or a woman's body .

if a man shaves all the hair off down there makes that area look like a kid lol.

I trim mine it looks cleaner, and illusion on size lol.

I always thought woman trim down there as well for health it is cleaner than having hair trap scents and sweat and such.

Plus i do not like hair in my food (lol)

woman that shave down there have less of a scent than the ones that do. but trimming is just as good.

Plus as one woman stated to me before, after sex it is easier to clean (no hair) no scent trapped and most of all it feels clean.

I shaved once as a man and did i ever have itchabalitis while it grew back out lol.

Because "society" has told women that they should shave...and so a good majority of them have listened. I guess men just got away with it cause it's "manly" to have pubic hair.

have you been checking? or is that something that you got from the porn industry? Well i am not here to judge. But I think its a cultural thing. Since the man is generally hairy so I think that something that just fits the picture.

Where have you been looking? there's plenty out there. Women have been removing theirs since the early part of the last century, but it's still there.
