Social Science - 24 September 2006

I have this innate sense of giving that I've had my whole life. I give and give to the point of it being ridiculous. I give when its not necessary, I give even more when it is. I give when I shouldn't, I give when it hurts myself it it'll help another even a fraction of what it hurt me. I don't believe this is a bad thing. It's very difficult, and it may cost me, but according to my beliefs thats ok. What I want to ask is how to avoid being used. I got my first job (I'm sixteen) a few weeks ago and spend a large portion of my paycheck on people close to me. I haven't bought a single thing for myself- material possession means almost nothing to me. An example would be the Christmas present I'm going to buy for my mother- All ten seasons of the X Files on DVD. (Love that show) Is it inevitable that it breeds contempt for myself to give that much to someone else?

ok.here's the problem.i like a guy in my new college & he know's that.but whenever i chat with him online,he seems so depressed giving answers like "it's ****,crap,sucks,bitchy,not good" etc. whenever i ask him how he is.there doesn't seem 2 be a day when he doesn't feel good.but at school he can hide it very well under a smile.& he had told me once that he doesn't want to be helped.apparently he's been hurt a lot esp. by his past gf's.

so,my question is how should i act with a guy like this?should i just continue being friends with him & try to help him?or tell him that i like him a.s.a.p.pls explain how i should make my moves...

No, I am not feeling sorry for myself. My failures are facts of the life I've lived. I was unwanted and abused as a child. I married young and stupidly, and then raised two children on my own, mostly in poverty. One child prospered, one did not. I lost many teeth in an accident, and my terrible smile limited social and work opportunities. I've worked exceptionally hard, often holding down two-three jobs, and even got a two year degree, but have never been able to escape the lower class. I could never afford my most basic dream, which was to own a home of my own, or my bigger dream, which was to be a successful writer. Publishers simply do not think my work would sell.

Those are the saddest of the facts. On the plus side, I have a beautiful daughter who brings much joy, and pets that I love, and shelves full of books I treasure. And yes, I have about twenty years left to live. Given the past, what suggestions do you have to create a more redeeming and fulfilling future?

White or Black is a color.

So those who are not sure about their ethnicity or national belonging, please don't answer.
Because I know Aryans are Iranians, Syrians, Irakies , Bengalies, etc.
and caucasians are the Central asian Muslims and the rusians, Armenianas and Afghans.
And The Austrians, Serbians, Czechs, Germans, are White, ... Bou all this whites are labeled as enemies of the republican KKK party in the USA!

So do not turn into colors. Otherwise arabs, mexicans, jews, colombians, venezuelans, cubans, puerto ricans, brazilians, etc..must be labeled browns, and Asians yellows.!

He has a girlfriend and you've known him for three years. He won't let you call him because he doesn't want to answer unneccisary questions. You ask if you can call him and he said no even though his sister is living with him. It's getting irritating. The only way you can drive him away is to seriously lash him out(verbally)

I was thinking about writing a story about the Queens of England, Sweden, Germany ect...would band up and kill all the men in the world but save the lives of little boys. Because they were sick of men treating women like crud and raping them and so on.

My other question is, is there a way to train these boys to respect women and lower their hormonal desire to the point they can actually control themselves and not ever rape or abuse women again?

Oh the ending consists of one guy and one girl stops the evil queens.
