Are these two well balanced? Do you think everyone should have the right to know everything about you, and you about your neighbours? Would it be socially dangerous if either one became superior over the other?

I would love to see 'Freedom of Information' about the governments doings as was promised in the New Labour manifesto but as usual it was spin as opposed to substance and anything inconvenient becomes 'security' and not allowed to be divulged to the public. Just about the norm for politicians. I think everyone should have a basic right to privacy unless what they are doing is against the interests of the public at large.Properly managed I can't see any danger.

Yes, balanced as two different things entirely. Freedom of Information allows an individual to access all information held about themselves and to access non confidential information held by public bodies. There are about 8 exceptions to the freedom of information act which allow companies to protect information which is sensitive and individuals to withold material. As the law stands, balanced and unlikely to have a situation where one contradicts the other.

Freedom of information should be in regards to government information, not personal information about other people. People SHOULD have a right to privacy. Unfortunatley there are companies and organizations out there that trade information about us, which I don't think is right,

don't know about everyone but i do know that the more some one un trustworthy knows about u the harder it is to get by in life, and i really don't want to know everything about my neighbors, most people are pretty disgusting, and my neighbors are. and as for the social dangerous part, in my experience it doesn't help to have everyone in a small town think they know all about u especially if u don't fit in and don't like the majority of the people enought to even try to fit in.

It changed into chic at their suitable. as well, what number of human beings will pay interest to pawn keep all through? it really is dull as hell. do not get me incorrect, it had some sturdy songs, like April 26, 1992, yet rattling, 40 oz..to freedom through far.
