The price today in my locale is $2.03 per gallon

They'll keep going down in time for the November elections. Then, if the Republicans keep control of congress, the prices will go back up again.

It's below $2 at one station in Ft. Worth, TX; around $2.10 in Houston (where I live); near $2.50 in the Austin area. It'll never be 29 cents like it was when I was in my twenties, just 35 years ago!

In Venezuela,they're $.11 a gallon. Can you imagine the oil companies pulling their hair out if it went that low here in the U.S.?

I heard on the news that if nothing else major happens,
(hurricane, major war, terrorist,etc.) that it will be at $2.00/gal by thanksgiving but will continue to lower and could possibly see $1.85 by Christmas--I hope it happens:)
