my mom told me i can't spend the night at my friend's house because he mom drinks. and it's not bad at all...like, she hardly EVER get's drunk. but she is letting my brother spend the night at his friends house with the mother there who really needs help... should i be mad? i am, but...is it really fair and i just don't think so now?

I got lice from my toddler (who goes to preschool) and now I am traumatized. I worry constantly about getting it again, and I get nervous anytime my scalp itches. I check my head several times a day, even though I never find anything. The issue is, I recently became friends with an elementary school teacher who is the "huggiest" person I have ever met. She hugs her students and always hugs me. I am worried she will get lice from the kids and give it to me. How can I politely ask her not to hug me without ruining our new friendship?

Ok i just got out of jail and this girl who used to be really really close to me and i liked her alot now she hates my guts she really really hates me. She wont even talk to me if i say something to her she says "leave me alone" or "dont talk to me"I think her mom is brain washing her into not liking me because she doesnt think im a good influence. She wants the girl to have no freinds at all. How do I convince her mom that im a good person and ive changed and wont get into any more trouble.I think she hates me because of the particular charge too.I just dont get it- i never did ANYTHING to the girl and i would have helped her out if she was ever in trouble, we used to be together all the time, now she hates my guts what do I do???

my teacher last year told us that some people from the deep south think that the conferderate states won the american civil war. how can they think that when we do not even have a seperate "confederate states of america" country or anything? what is up with that thinking and where did they get it from?
