Iv'e heard there is an occult/hidden meaning in this,and happens to other people. Does anyone know or have any ideas what this means?

Start being a prick about people calling you David .
The tell them that the nick name for Richard is Dick.

I means they're not paying attention to detail. They associate you with your family and not you as an individual. I have a very unusual spelling to my name, it's easy to tell when someone isn't paying attention.

"Make a name for yourself." Do something crazy and unexpected that blows people away, and make it something that your brother and dad would never EVER do. Whether that something good or bad, people will remember your name.
