She wants the best for you. But if you really want to, go to your dad. ^_^

sometimes kids can only see things threw their eyes where parents have a broader view of people . theres no age mention so I have to guess your the youngest and your not really mad at mom as with big brother . you have the right to get upset when things accur that just doesn't seem fair in your eyes. its part of being a kid lol but just don't get angry. moms does know best in most cases hun . there will be other friends and lots of sleep over and many things that you'll get to do that other brother will not "o} take care!

Coming from a parents point of view. There are times where one adult just doesn't trust another adult, for any reason. So no matter if it was drinking or nothing at all, it may just be that your Mom doesn't trust or like her Mom.

This is one that you JUST can not understand until you are much older and your daughter wants to go over her friends home. Then it is all to clear...

PS. Don't listen to NAV's answer, if you do you will just PISS OFF your Mom and you will never go any where.

When my kids try to play me against my wife it over just that quick... End of story, No way, Sorry...

Maybe she's not letting you go for another reason, and this is just what she's telling you. Or, maybe she has heard something else about the mom that you haven't heard, and she hasn't told you.

Just accept it and be glad you have a mother that cares--even if she does have a double standard.
