My identity-true self. I also gave everything I could for my ex-wife. Worked long hours & climbed the ladder. Was it worth it? No. Catching the bus, going into NYC & living that routine drains you.

We chase others dreams. Daily the newspapers/news talks about the Donald Trumps...how to be like them. Most of us never will. It's all a mirage...

While I found my inner strength...I lost a lot thru divorce. My fault, I married the wrong one & then divorced her. Really takes a lot out of you.

If I had married the right woman, it all would of been worth it. Life is a joke...as Jim Morrison of the Doors says, we no one makes it out alive.
Most don't realize till the end...it's the little things
that count the most.

Perhaps it's how we define success that is the most important thing. Our relationships, who we love & spend time with. Who we help, how we make the world a better place than we found it.

Overall it is your choice whether you want to give anything up as there is noone forcing you to be successful apart from you. Depending on what you want to be successful in there are different degrees of giving up. Just sit back relax for a while and figure out what YOU really want not everyone else around you or you will be always wondering the inevitable question "what if???"
Strive for what you want - Good luck and let me know the outcome, Take care x1x

I didnt give up anything to be successful, quite the reverse...
I gave up the opportunity of success for love.

Sounds really soppy, eh?

Thats what I have instead of 'success' (which I assume refers to big job, loadsa money/cars/houses etc.)
It was and still is worth it, as I can be successful later.

I didn't give up anything. Of course I am not as rich as Bill Gates, but I am sure in the top 5% in my area.

Golf & Hair....

I built one hell of a practice...oddly enough right after I stopped golfing!

Also, the hairline has receeded a bit as i've built up my business.

Now I can afford new hair... ( Success has it's rewards )
