whenever i dream there are always babies in my dreams and children. In my dreams they are not my children, they always belong to someone else, but i am always playing with them, and sometime they are given to me. These dreams has been going on more than a year, and i would like to know what it means.

This is very interesting. you are playing with them in your dreams, and sometimes they are given to you... the first part means that you think either you need free time or that you think that your existing children need more free time, but you dont want to admit it to yourself as it may disrupt a presumably busy schedule. the latter often means that you feel the need to adopt, either by the want of a child, or the aviodance of the pain of labor, or many other factors, including that you feel the need to adopt a child to spare them House jumping, or fostercare. were you or someone you know a foster child? if so than it may very well be that you want to do your part to spare a child the loneliness of not having a home, or any constants in their life. the fact that there are babies in your dreams is irrelevant, all that matters is the nature of your meeting of these, excuse the pun, "Dream Children". i hope all goes well, and that you consider the facts befor taking any action.

Children, babies = playful ones, need to be protected
In you case, recurring dream about babies could have two possibilites.
1. You like children so much and you are always around childen or babies and that is why you dream about it
2. It is a projection of your need. You may need someone to protect you. Having babies protected could mean you want to be protected. In dreams, it is often the other way around. Your subconscious mind may tell you that you actually are like the children needing people to care about

As far as I know when you dream about babies it means someone around you is going to die but since you have been dreaming about this for more than a year i would say its definately something subconscious. I dont think you should worry about it since it doesnt seem to be a terrible dream...

pregnancy and babies means someone near you is going to pass away soon. in the last month ivebeen having dreams like that too, jsut last night i dreamt that a really small Beethoven type dog was having puppies and i couldnt get my camera out of my purse fast enough to get pictures. they came out really clean and everything. and a week ago i had a dream that i was 6 months pregnant, and it was like "hah, beat you!" to my friend that is in reality 3 months pregnant. but let me tell you, i DO NOT want kids, subconsiously or otherwise, and i do not envy people with babies.
its wierd, but yeah, if you check a dream encyclopedia it will tell you that something bad is going tohappen when you dream of babies.

Do you have children of your own? It sounds to me as if you want some or some more, of your own. You must really love them and be good with them. Becuase in your dream you are always playing with them. Maybe you would do good in childcare. Babysiting or daycare.
