Long before the male Gods, there was Isis. They banned her and replaced her with a male God that told women to go out and bear children in pain because Eve ate the apple. Do you think that in our society women have achieved less then males (such as famous writers, musicians, artists, etc.) (Yes I know we have made strides but Beethoven rides a boy's bike). (ya know??)
Do you think the reason for this might be that men stacked the history book??

I've often heard people say that genius and insanity run together. While I've never come across real research to support this, I am curious as to why so many people see that connection. Why do you think those traits are linked?

The western education model was designed to create supervisors and paper tigers loaded with too much of general knowledge which they can not apply in their life time. The first 21 years of your life is wasted without identifying and improving your natural talent to be selfreliant. A soccer player or singer should start honing the skills from age 6 onwards to make it at 18.

i mean we all live once. we're always talking about getting together and making love and peace. but we still judge each other based on the possesions we own or the car he or she drives. looks, they say, don't mean anything-oh yeah? well it sure is good motivation for sectioning people off into certain groups. i think people are just vile and materialistic. we really don't care about one another...all of our talk of world peace and golden rules are all bullcrap. the only people that follow these lessons are the slow and stupid-they mean well but they end up getting left out in the cold. even this comment/question won't provoke anyone's thinking. sick frigging world we live in...

So I cry at the drop of a hat. I saw a baby squirrel die and I cried. I cry at movies and tv shows sometimes. My feelings get hurt so easily. I've never had an enemy before but if I did, I would be upset knowing someone didn't like me. I'm too nice to people. I even took my ex boyfriend back after he abused me because he came to my house sobbing and saying he would kill himself. I did break up w/him again though and felt awful. What do I do to develop a tougher shell? People tell me I just have a big heart but I honest to God think I'm a pus pus I really need some suggestions on how to have a tougher core.

I dont no wuts wrong with me. I've been feeling so lonely lately but i have like a zillion freinds there all the time. Everytime I hang out with them, I realize I want to be alone. Has anyone ever seen one of his shows before? My girfriend and I are always on the lookout for fun stuff to do for dates, and we saw that this guy is coming to a comedy club near where we live. She definatly wants to volunteer to be hypnotized, as am I, but we are both worried about the matierial. His website says his stuff is PG-13, but...the comedy club is billing it as an "erotic hypnotist" so..I'm just wondering if anyone out there has seen one of these shows and knows how it is. I really don't want her to get embarassed or humiliated...so yeah. Thanks for the help.
