Do we share common perceptions or do we all have different ideas about the sensations we experience in our life? Isn't it then possible that my idea of red is completely different perceptually than yours?

This girl i know, were best freinds, she said she loves me but shes not IN love with me. I cant get rid of the feeling that she does like me. She said i wasnt her type but i dont know if she was just saying that or if she really meant it. I cant get the courage to ask her out.

When it was first released, it cost 600 bucks.

The last time I checked the price came down to 340 dollars. Except there were no more copies at either Tower Records Website, or BMG recordings website, Even Ebay doesn't have any available. Did I wait too long, will there be another re-release?
Also WHo has the rights to the Beatles songs, didn't Paul Mcartney have the rights or did Michael Jackson snag the rights?

What I mean in my question is how can you tell if someone is a non orthodox white ethnic Jew, not someone of non-Jewish ethnicity who later converted to Judaism. I am just curious.

A serious question. For plants that have become edible over time through cultivation (like the potato), and plants that have parts that are poisonous connected to the non-poisonous parts (like rhubarb), how did our ancestors figure out that things like potatoes and rhubarb were edible, or would eventually be edible? It couldn't be simply trial and error (seriously, how many people would seriously knowingly subject themselves to eating something that just killed someone else?). Could a food scientist or anthropologist shed some light on this?

If you are... Why are you? What is your reason?
If you are not... Why are you not? What are your reasons?

Do you believe that people are nice for the sake of being nice, or nice or decent or kind, to either show themselves as better than... socially, or to get a desired, preconceived responce from them in exchange for their kindness. Almost as if it were some kind of currency.

I believe that MOST people show effection and kindness and decency BECAUSE... and with the intent of getting it back.
After all, what good is it, if it is only reserved for those you KNOW will give it in return? and you treat everyone else like crap (usually in the exact same way you accuse) because you know they wont be nice to you ahead of time?

What do you think?
Personally, I'm not an overly gushing or "nice" or kind person, because there is nothing I want from you and I have nothing to prove to you and I dont give a rats butt if that makes you better than I am.

The lady I work with seems to think that she is so far above me that I am not suppose to question anything she does or says. I acutally have more experince and training in our line of work.
it is in a hospital and to protect the patients, I feel I have to say something at times.

Sometimes the hatred on Yahoo message boards..and even q &a are so vile, I wonder if people really are that bitter, (in which case we are in big trouble) or if responses like that are just to rile people.
Why do people feel so free to say such nasty things they wouldn't dare say to a person's face?
(IF YOU ANSWER IN AN ABUSIVE MANNER, I WILL REPORT YOU)

I have to write a paper for my psychology class. I picked hormones and how they affect behavior. So far, I can't find anything at the library except anatomy and physiology books (which I already have). Every website I go to is trying to sell me a book. Where can I find just information I can use?

Only some white women are they only ones who need to wear make up.... But some women insist on it, why? I mean, its not like the stuff is very cheap or even changes your look?(well, unless you go for a large change of look, loud lipstick etc)

These cultists seem to have an excess of will power or, they re-define the word.

I use ALL the will power available to discipline my self while participating in endurance sports. If I assign my will power and related self-discipline to the "powerless" concept found in AA, will I contaminate my self and become a loser or under achiever.

If one fails repeatedly while attempting a positive behavior change, is his "will power" eternally defective and NEVER to be used again? (slippery slope)

This question has been puzzling me for years. Kind of like the tree falling in the forest dilemna. Ever since I "heard" about the tragic suicide of famed Parisian mime Pepe LeGuerre, where he actually hung himself, as opposed to his gag of pretending to hang himself, I have been plagued by this query. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The recent shootings at Montreal Dawson School (Sep 13/06) makes one question as to the real reason behind these repeat mass killings. The similar militant-gothe dress and/or drug dependency and emotionally dead demeanor of the killers and brainwash-like actions of the killers is pointing to an organized, militant organization. The paramilitary group is probably terrorist, but is it possible, we dont want to hear that it is terrorist? The terrorists use all kinds of methods to their collective madness, and these school shootings are just another means to their illegal barbaric acts. Terrorism must be studied in its entirety as to the aberrant psychological aspects of terrorism. This form of terrorism has deep roots going back 7000 years of hate mongering. Today the Al Qaeda can use all kinds of unsuspecting or suspecting youth to create their chaos which will lead to their ultimate goal; world domination through terrorism. STUDY AND DEPROGRAM THE TERRORISTS NOW!
