1. If you are wearing flip flops and they are comfortable, who cares. Wear what you want when you want. They are your feet.
2. If she was a true friend, she wouldn't have laughed. Sorry, but that's just the way I feel about people goofing on others for the way they dress, music they listen to etc.
3. The next time she laughs at you for something like that, walk away and give her the cold should for a few days. That should give her a clue ...

You know what I'm wearing flip flops to! And they look great! You just need to gain some conferdance and take things like flip flops with a pitch of salt! Maybe her feet were hot and she felt jealous! People can be funny like that!

She's just rude, and thats not friendly. You're not being over sensitive! She laughed and pointed at you, that would hurt anyone's feelings.
Its still a free country and youcan wear what you like. She's the one with the hang up. Remember that when other people try to put you down, they are actually saying more about themselves than they are about you.
You discovered something about that person today. But it's about her and her life, there's nothing you have to change. Just be yourself.

No point worrying what others think, who says they are right? Wear what you want and be confident, my daughter always hates me wearing flip flops out she says they are slippers for the house but I dont take any notice. Wear your flip flops with pride honey!

Dont worry about her girlfriend! Im trying to wear flip flops for as long as possible because come winter we wont be able to. Heaps of people are wearing them today.

Perhaps she is a dedicated follower of fashion and flip flops are not to days hot fashion foot wear, wear what you want and take no notice of her. Maybe you should have asked her what the problem was? Tell her your a leader not a follower.

Well its kinda wet where I am so no chance of flip flops, wear what makes u feel comfortable and next time ur 'friend' says something just tell her that it is your body and your choice.

Guess we all act a little strange every now and then and react differently or even weirdly. I'm thinking your friend was as surprised as you were with her own reaction.
Take no notice! If you still feel offended by her, tell her. Don't hold it back because it will build up as time goes on and eventually one of you will burst!

i am wearing flip flops today as well and the weather isnt very nice outside, its been raining and everything, but they are comfy to walk around the office in. and i enjoy wearing them. as long as you like them sod everyone else. its only you that matters
