If yes:
Either voluntary or involuntarily and why, please

I'm not a psych major myself, I'm only a high school senior who has taken a psychology class and I have had other experiences in dealing with psychology that I would rather not mention... but I find myself thinking about my friends and wondering why they act like they do, or about other people in my school who act out.

Just wondering what your thoughts were from an educated perspective, oh and people who have degrees in psychology definetly count too.

It would solve a hundred different diet related diseases, making the country fitter, and more productive. If people can't be trusted to eat healthily themselves, shouldn't the government step in?

I mean established, reputable entities. Those whose use of funds is easy to track. Those that are not, and never were under any suspicion. I especially want to avoid entities that masquerade as Islamic do-gooders, when, in fact they support terrorism. Islamic, Christian, secular--fine: as long as it is a legit organization.

I was reported by some level 4 dude for trying to do a psychology experiment on yahoo answers . It wasn't crude/or hateful. Why do people rat other people out?

Could it be that he didn't have a chance of winning?

Darwin's theory has been used to justify the kill-or-be-killed mentality of life being not much more that a "survival of the fittest." My question is this: When you see people supporting war and the obvious murdering of people through war, does this provide evidence that Darwin is right and life for HUMAN BEINGS (not talking about animals here) is no greater than a survival of the fittest?

The land and water used to graze cattle is not worth it. In just a few decades, at current consumption levels, the earth will no longer be able to support all of us. It takes hundreds of gallons of water to get just one pound of meat, and hundreds of pounds of grain. That grain and water could be feeding dozens of people instead of getting just one pound of meat. I know people will not completely stop eating meat, but could you agree to cut back?

It seems crazy, we would all be better off for having a world with more love in it so why do we all continue to bicker and battle when pulling together would make us a better and stronger in this world.

i was sitting at a restaurant with my bf having dinner. it was a cute little restaurant in front of the acropolis with the table a little inclined between the two of us since the little street was up hill. while we were having our desert my bf moved back to see water dripping from the table on to his pants. he looked at the table and it was dripping as if we had spilled water. he looked at me and the glass of water and bottle, nothing had knocked over. we looked at each other in awe and began to examin. the water was coming from under my dish, and it was a LOT, like a glass full of water, but NOTHING had spilled.

we couldnt believe what on earth had happened. we tested and spilled a little on the table but noticed the water remained there on top of the table paper mat as it had a plastic covering under the paper mat, the other water instead had come from UNDER the paper pat between plastic covering and paper mat.

what on earth had happened???????

it was something unexplainable...

I made a terrible mistake of breaking conversation with an intimate question while trying to be funny. And now she's overt shy towards me and she doesnt respond to my messages anymore. By now she probably knows I have intimate feelings for her and maybe avoiding because she might have a boyfriend. But everytime I see here she just smiles when I try tohave a casual talk with her. I usually stutter when I talk to her at times and I think she kind a like the attention I'm giving her. What should I do to make the girl of my dreams mine? I'm so confused I wanted to start out as her friend then I blew it I think. I really like her all I can think about is her, I can't even go on a day without thinking about her. How can I make her answer my text messages again?
