I was reported by some level 4 dude for trying to do a psychology experiment on yahoo answers . It wasn't crude/or hateful. Why do people rat other people out?

Could it be that he didn't have a chance of winning?

I don't know why someone would try to hurt you when you was meaning no harm and Snitch you out. It all depends on what Yahoo had to say about it. Also, when people do this sometimes they may feel mad or threatened, revenge, many things. Just let it go. It's best to do that sometimes.

They rat others out, so they will look superior to who ever they told it to. Or they do it to be mean, which they are and hateful.

In order to have "real" questions to answer and not have to weed through spam and other non-quesitons, something has to be done to discourage people from adding junk to the site. Reporting them accomplishes this.

I would definately call them snitches.

Most do it because they are low-lifes who derive pleasure from seeing others suffer. Others do it for revenge.
