what do you say when people keep mentioning you must be mafia cause im italian. I get this all the time.

“Some people tend to stereotype people based on how they see most of them..if you see one people of a certain nationality or class as bad..you tend to think of the rest as that..people tend to have this standard and perception that if you’re ‘White’ you’re beautiful..if you’re ‘Black’ you’re ugly..whatever.. but you know what? There’s always gonna be the good and the bad..in the world..that’s a fact..every race..nationality..ethnicity..whatnot..”

it's a stereotype, you can either play along and sort of joke about it
I'd go with humor in some way, or you can get them on some sort of their stereotype
or just straight out tell them you don't like it

Mess with their heads.... laugh at first & say "that's so funny", then quietly say "if you do that again, I'm going to have my boys pay you a visit"
