and if there is no such thing as 'acting' black, then what is the phenomenon known as ebonics, and what is it that Bill Cosby is going on about?

The smell of petrol reminds me of my dad. He was always fixing cars when I was a kid. The smell of vodka reminds me of the night I got very very drunk for the first time when I was 15.Cant touch the stuff now.

Imagine if your savings did not earn interest at all, but instead "went bad" - wouldn't that encourage people to spend as much as possible, as quickly as possible, to make sure they get something for their bucks before they expire?

And wouldn't that also put an end to the rich-and-poor divide? You'd be as rich as you are able to contribute to society. Family fortunes and having power over people due to wealth would be a thing of the past.

What do you think of that?

If the rule of the free market is to charge whatever the market will bear, are we as consumers and workers not stupid to strain harder and work longer to be able to pay prices which will be jacked up due to the fact that we can spend more money through that?

And:

Would it therefore not be better to turn the tables and refuse to work longer and earn more, simply demand more time for ourselves, and thereby send prices and working times plummeting?

All we would need to do is sit it out until prices go down due to lack of demand. And yes, that might be called a recession, but where does the straining end? Humans need to sleep. And there are only 24 hours in a day. Eternal, exponential growth, I've always thought, is simply a mathematical impossibility - or not?

Wouldn't it be wise of us to slow down before we crash? What are your views? Can this be done?

How old were you when you left? Why? If you could go back, would you tell yourself to stay a little longer or tell yourself to get out sooner? Tell me your stories. Most interesting or exciting gets the top spot.

Does anyone know of a book I could give my friend, a single divorced mother, that deals with the problem of using a child as an emotional crutch and throwing out relationships with guys at the first sign of trouble?

I've been told "There will be more "friction". (with a circumcised) The entire length of the circumcised penis will move across your genitals whereas the uncircumcised penis will "glide" in an out under the foreskin." Is this true and which feels better?

The weirdest phase I've gone thru was when I was in 7th grade, I somehow became friends with this girl who loved ghosts, magic and Ouiji boards lol. One time we even had a candelit seance thing in this other girl's basement and tried to get the candle light to "dance"? lol you know I got over that phase very quickly...that spooky stuff had me staying up all night freaked out and plus it was just too bizarre for me

And when I was freshman, I tried to be "goth". That didn't last for long haha and I looked a like a complete idiot too...! I'm very different now though

YOUR TURN!

I personally recommend Psycho cybernetics, Power of the Sub-conscious mind, and Think and Grow Rich. All fabulous classics that discuss the subconscious mind and how to use it to get what you want in life. Anything dealing with utilizing one's full potential can't be beat.
