Why do you think that people are so afraid to express their true feelings? Does FEAR lie at the root of what allows political correctness to proliferate?

How can I tell if the intervention was successful? I have summurized the responses and have an average score for each question on both of the surveys. Our n=1500. For instance, I know that the average response to question one was 1.62925170 on the pre-test, and 1.762150982 on the post-test. What can I do with this data? How can I present it? How can I show others its meaning? I am an officer at a community foundation, and we are looking at data from an intervention used in our local schools. We just want to be good stewards of our money, and make good decisions. Any wisdom would be helpful. Thanks!

then we come to big problem. One group of people complain that they do not have freedom because of others and others complain that they do not have freedom because of the first.
About me: I am just one person. How can the whole society complain about my own freedom when it is not possible for me -and I do not like - to ruin the freedom of others.
How one person can be obstacle to many others?

....the marketing of, and the profit machine of music (and maybe film too).
Wouldn't it be great not to be able to mentally recall irritating, feel good music? Or not to have an era defined by the sound at that time of the most popular band?
Do you think people would have to compensate somehow for the loss of noise we're used to? Or would we be much better off?

we are told we are free. However, I think in today world freedom can only be bought with money. They give us everything EXCEPT money. So, are you feeling free, you poor people?

I studied economics. There's a widely accepted concept of 'disposable income'. That's how much money one has to spend "on a whim". So how much time per week do you think to have to do with however you like.

Consider that humans are 'social animals'. The worst punishment is solitary confinment- which leads to insanity. We need to socialize with other people as much as wee need sleep and food. So socialization, to a large degree is not 'disposable' time- we have to socialize, to some degree.

So, there are 168 hours in a week. We spend 56 hours sleeping. 40 plus hours at jobs. __ hours 'decompressing' (relaxing) after work. Around 20 hours grocery shopping/cooking/eating/digesting & relaxing after meals. We spend hours getting dressed and undressed, doing laundry. We spend some time each week shopping/doing errands. If ya got kids well there's a big chunk of hours.

So tell me, how many hours on average per week do you calculate that you have as totally 'you' time?

When i dream i usually have very weird, vivid, dreams. The worst kind are when i dream about my boyfriend cheating on me with another girl. It kills me. I wake up and have a bad day just thinking about the dream. I worry about the dream so much i even resort to telling him about it, which he denies happening. Why do i have these dreams so often? I don't know how to make them go away, but i want to at least understand what the true meaning of them are.

We are told that we are free. But we are free FROM many things and not free FOR many things. For example, you are free FROM Buddhism, you are free FROM oral sex, you are free FROM anoying ex-boyfriend, you are FREE from this or that.
In fact, you are free from what has been told to you that is not good and you are free to do things that you have been told that are good.
Let us say that you are in love and you have good boyfriend. You are told that you are free to love him and be only with him but what if you like to change something in your love life?
or you are free to vote for your political party but can you vote for the opposite party?
or you are free NOT to live with your parents. But what if you want to help them and live with them?
You are free to do what has been told to you that is good. What if you want to do or be such person that others so hard try to make you see that is forbidden?
