Money severely limits what you can and you cannot do. Why do you think the world currency exchange rates are manipulated so the white people can have more money than the third world nations?

You don't have to have a dime to be free. Bums are free they get up in the morning whenever they feel like. Scrouge around for food, mill around all day talking to themselves and dressing in what ever they can find. They show up at the salvation army and grab a sandwich for lunch. Jump a freight car and travel across the country.

I think your idea of freedom relies too much on material things.

Freedom is not what your money can buy. Freedom is the ability to choose, to become, to act, to freely think and to achieve. Being poor does not stop you from doing these things. it just means you may need to put forth more effort. This is not a bad thing because it will make you a better, stronger person. It will help you to appreciate your freedom all the more.

I would feel not free if I had to do something I believed was wrong or something personally distateful in order to survive. Different people have different ideas about what these things are. My father sold tobacco in order to support his family. He wasn't free, and got out of it as soon as he could.

Wage slavery is not freedom.

In order to avoid wage slavery, people need access to more capital than they currently have. The ownership of capital is currently concentrated in very few hands, so people have to resort to working for those who do own the capital on their terms.
