If the game is just a game, then Yes.
If the game is a metaphor for something more important, then no.

If the game is up, and you've lost, ask yourself this, did you enjoy the game? If so, organise as many rematches as it takes to become the master. Until, the quest becomes boring.

No way, it ain't over till it's over. Even if there's no chance of you winning, just the fact that you stick it out till then end shows good sportsmanship, and that's a lot more then most people have.
