My son is now growing up, he is only 5yrs 3mnths old; I sometime get blank empty behaving with him. Can anyone suggest any source to know the wayout of treating a kid of his age.

Democratic Capitalist or Democratic Socialist?

As part of my study in Economics in the past, democratic socialist economy (like France, Canada, Spain, et.al. EU states) tends envolvement of the government in the economic activities of its society. In capitalist economy (like the great United States), most economic activities are left to entrepreneurs - in the same token however, because of "overriding interest" of majority of the populace, government has to be involved also in order to make sure that all economic activities of the entrepreneurs are within the regulations maintained by the government for which it was created to serve. At this point (I'm confused), what makes these two economic plans different then, I wonder? Which would you personally favor and why? Thanks for sharing your opinion, anyone.

Do you ever talk to yourself when no one is around?

Not only do I talk to myself, but sometimes I say to myself something like, "Well, we will be home soon" like there is someone else with me. I think it comes from when I was much younger and didnt have many friends and I was sometimes lonely.
Do you think I'm weird or something? (not that it matters now)

Does it sicken you?

Does it sicken you that a person convicted of stealing can get more time than someone who is convicted of molesting a child? It completely pisses me off. Where my sister lives... a person convicted of using drugs gets more prison time than someone convicted of rape... what is wrong with our legal system!!!?

Why do girls like yaoi so much?

Dream discussion?

A few nights ago i had two dreams, one: had to do with a white wolf in the woods; two: i was looking into a mirror that seemed dark or was foggy and suddenly my eyes glew bright yellow reflecting through the mirror like actually towards my face and then the rest of me appeared in the mirror. i need sites that feature anthropological and/or social science researches and abstracts. what sites are they?

my anthropology class requires us to submit at least one NEW study on social sciences especially anthropology and other related subdisciplines. i could settle for behavioral researches and abstracts. where would i find such studies?? i need it for free, i have limited resources.

How do I say thank you for an award ?

I recieved an award for excellence in my field of nursing at a dinner. I need to say thank you to everyone who sent me congratulatory cards, or even those people who told me how happy they were I recieved the recognition. I was given a large chunk of money by a physician and I am just at a loss for what to say or do. How do I convey how thankful I am? Do I just let it go since I said thank you at the awards ceremony. How do you say how greatful you are? I was just interviewed for a news article.

Family is grieving?

My wife lost her sister a few months ago. Her husband, her mom and dad, and her sister are grieving hard. Four months later, her brother in law's older brother whom they were all close too, Shoots himself in the heart in his bath tub in the same house that my wifes sister died in. My sister in law's cause of death is unknown. Her heart just stopped. No explanation. They don't know how to grieve. I am trying to get in a position to help them because I have experience with this. I have lost my parents, two brothers, six uncles, three aunts, and five friends that I was very close too. How can I help them get to a point that isn't self destructive? I don't feel anything. I'm numb to the whole death thing, so I can't empathize anymore. Need suggestions.
