The U.S. high tech & bio tech industries will grow yet neither requires a large domestic labor force. They need a few highly skilled people.
I suspect social services will see a rise in the coming years, from retiring baby boomers, teenage mothers, under-educated youth and illegal immigrants... all seeking government or non-profit social programs.
