I'm as gay as they come, but for some reason, gay guys are boring to me. I'm not attracted to them at all. I'm really just attracted to straight guys and I hate it because I know nothing will ever come of it! It's more than just a sexual thing too. For some reason, I'm emotionally attracted to them as well.

Any insights to why this is? What should I do?

I have this fear of dropping my keys in a storm drain.

Not death... not public speaking.... dropping my keys in a storm drain. I mean... what would you do if you dropped them in one of those things? They'd be gone forever. I can't walk over grates in the street or drains of any type without cringing and holding onto the keys in my pocket... any tips for me to get over this?

Do you have any weird fears?

I have the ability to block everything out and give my complete focus on something or short periods of time. It's like slowing down time.
Also I can be anything and do anything in my mind, and this visualization helps me through life because I've already lived things inside my head and it helps me accomplish anything.
Do you feel there are limits to the mind? What would they be?

Most of us have heard this phrase: "The opposite of love is not hatred, but apathy. Therefore, hatred is very close to love, since they both involve strong passions."

So, what do you think is the reason you hate someone? What's the one thing you could remove (or add) that would change your feeling from hatred to love?

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE. Thank you.

For example, a man will possibly punch you if you insult him.
A woman will try to set you up for something that will ruin your employment prospects for life or possibly get you incarcerated thus ruining your entire life.

I heard some psychologist say this, also that women are "cruel" at a basic level but still can be loving/caring.

If you had a dream, several times, about Meeting someone,
and when you woke up you wondered which was real, the dream
or REALITY.
But you didnt take it seriously, although it was a wonderfull dream.
You tell your friends, some of them say -oh wow she sounds nice, I hope ya meet her
Others say quit dreaming

Then you had a dream about being in a bad car accident with
a friend you had not seen
in more than 2 years.
You wake up, you tell your friends about it and they cringe from all the gory details.

That afternoon after work, you run into that friend again,a nd go to a party.
After the party she falls asleep at the wheel and you have an accident.
So bad you cant walk at all for 3 months, and you limp for 10 years.
Afterwords, the dreams get stronger, and then you meet the person you thought
was just a dream.
She has the same name.
She looks like the pictures you used to draw when you woke up.
She acts the same (the dreams were lucid.)

How would you feel?
Would you tell her about it?

It seems to me that the Arab oil wealth only goes to a few families and the average Arab guy on the street sees none of it. Do the Arab leaders scape goat the Jews in order to deflect attention away from themselves? Is this why Al Quida want's to only teach the Koran in school so that the people stay too dumb to relize their own people are stealing the countries wealth away from them?

For me, I think it's crucial to understand the story of our ancestors and how society and culture have developed. I think some people are turned off by history because it hasn't been presented to them in an effective manner. One of my history professors once said, "We need desperately to learn about far away places with strange-sounding names". I think that's true even for those places of yesteryear. History isn't about dates and trivia, but about mistakes and success and it's about the equivialent of people like you and I who lived long ago. More importantly, it's about understanding. So much ignorance, hatred, and fear is present in people today because they barely understand themselves.
